SBI SO 2020 Eligibility Criteria:

Candidates should check SBI SO 2020 eligibility prior to filling the application form. It is recommended that only those contestants who fulfill SBI SO Eligibility Criteria should apply for the SBI SO exam. The aspirants should satisfy the criteria in age, nationality and all other categories.

Essential Academic Qualifications:

Executive (FI & MM) – A candidate must have graduation in Rural Economy/ Agriculture  & Allied Activities/ Horticulture as years full-time course

Senior Executive – (Social Banking & CSR)Basic – A candidate must have graduation (full time) in any stream and minimum of 3 years of experience

Sr. Executive (Digital Relations) – A candidate must have B.E./ B. Tech with minimum 60% marks in Computer Science/ Information Technology/ Electronics/ Electrical & Electronics/ Electronics & Communication from recognised University/ Institute and 4 years of experience

Investment Officer – A candidate need to have Graduates/ Postgraduates from Government recognized University or Institution. Certification by NISM/CWM mandatory. Minimum 5 years of experience as an investment officer/part of product team in Wealth Management organisation.

Project Development Manager (Technology) – A candidate need to have MBA/MMS/PGDM/M.E/ M.Tech/B.E / B.Tech from Government recognized University or Institution and Minimum 4 years’ experience

SME Credit Analyst – A candidate need to have CA/ MBA (Finance) / PGDM (Finance) /PGDBM(Finance) or equivalent post-graduation degree (Two years full time regular course) from Recognized University/College and 3 years’ of post basic qualification work experience.

Product Manager -A candidate need to have B.E./B. Tech in Computer Science/ Information Technology/Electronics & Communication/Electrical & Electronics from recognized University/Institutions and Minimum 5 years’ post basic qualification experience as on 01.01.2020 as a product owner in the financial services space

Manager (Data Analyst) – A candidate need to have Bachelor’s degree in Statistics, Economics, Mathematics or Computer Science and Minimum 8 years’ post basic qualification experience

  1. The least possible age of an applicant is in between 21 to 30 years depending upon the Post.
  2. The maximum age limit of an applicant can be in between 30-40 years.

  1. Only Citizens of India are eligible to apply for SBI SO 2020.
  2. OCI and NRIs cannot apply for the exam.

SBI SO 2020 Exam Pattern:

There is a separate exam to recruit Specialist Officers as Assistant Managers, Engineers, officers, Architects, designers, administrators, Tester, Manager, analysts, Developers, Test lead, innovation specialist, and various other Posts on the regular/ contractual basis. The exam pattern for each of them is different.

SBI SO Exam Pattern (For Systems, CA and Engineering Officers)

The exam for the post of Systems, CA, and Engineering Officers will be conducted in two parts. Candidates will have to attempt Question Paper 1 and Question Paper 2. Question paper 1 will be conducted for 90 minutes. Candidates will be asked to answer 120 questions from three sections namely, English Language, Reasoning Ability, Quantitative Aptitude. For the post of Law Officers, applicants will have to attempt 2 papers- Question Paper 1 and Question Paper 2. Question paper 1 comprising 50 questions from English Language while 70 questions from Reasoning Ability will be asked. Descriptive Exam

The Pre Exam Training is conducted for the candidates who belong to SC/ST and Minority Communities. The main aim of the Pre Exam Training is to provide training facilities to improve the abilities and to enhance the capabilities of under privilege candidates. The training is free of cost, but all the other expenses like travel, accommodation, food, etc. must be paid by the candidates themselves. SBI SO Previous Year Exam Analysis:

  • The overall difficulty level of the paper was moderate.
  • However, the difficulty of the questions was evenly distributed. Like some questions were easy, some were medium and the remaining ones were tougher.
  • All the questions were of multiple choice, and four probable answers were provided for each question.
  • Each correct answer was set for one mark, and there was negative marking.
  • For each incorrect attempt, one-fourth (1/4) mark was supposed to be deducted from the candidate’s score.

  • SBI SO 2020 Cut Off will depend on various factors such as total number of applicants, the total number of seats and the difficulty level of the SBI SO 2020 exam.
  • SBI SO 2020 cut off mark will be decided by the Central Recruitment and Promotion Department of SBI bank.
