To be eligible to appear for SSC MTS 2021-22, there are certain eligibilty criteria that must be taken into consideration.

SSC MTS 2021-22 Educational Qualification

  • The paper is divided into 4 sections are Intelligence Reasoning, Numerical Aptitude, English Language and General Knowledge. Check SSC MTS Syllabus
  • The exam will be in both languages i.e in English & Hindi.
  • Negative marking of 0.25 marks for each wrong answer will be applicable. Check SSC MTS Marking Scheme
  • Total duration of Paper I is 90 minutes. For visually handicapped and cerebral palsy candidates it is 120 minutes.

  • Paper 2 of SSC MTS has descriptive type (Essay and Letter writing) question.
  • Total duration of Paper II is 30 minutes. For visually handicapped and cerebral palsy candidates it is 40 minutes.

No, interview is not conducted for any post in SSC MTS.

SSC MTS 2021-22 Salary:

Once the 7th pay commission comes to force, there will be a considerable increase in the current SSC MTS Salary. Also, additional benefits will be provided. SSC MTS salary is calculated as Gross Salary & In-Hand Salary. After the application of 7th pay commission, the income of every government job got increased by almost 20%. Multi Tasking Staff is a general central service group ‘C’ non-gazetted, a non-ministerial post which falls under Payband-1 (Rs.5200 – 20200) + Grade Pay Rs.1800. However, the take-home salary of MTS ranges between Rs.18,000 – 22,000 /month (approx). The salary could vary based on location, allowances etc.

 SSC MTS 2021-22 admit card can be downloaded by following these few easy steps:

  •    Log on to the official SSC website.
  •    Select the option of ‘Admit Card’. A number of links of regional websites of the commission will appear.
  •    Select the region as chosen during registration
  •    Enter login credentials such as Registration Number and Date of Birth on the page that opens.
  •    Alternatively, aspirants can also enter their name to avail their hall ticket.
  •    Admit card will appear on the computer screen.
  •    Verify all the details like name, registration number, examination centre, etc. given on the admit card.
  •    Download the admit card and print a colored copy of it.
Candidates must check the details given on the admit card before downloading it. They must ensure that the details provided are correct and photograph and signature are properly visible. Incase there are any mistakes that need to be rectified in the admit card, contact SSC MTS authority immediately.

SSC MTS 2021-22 Final Result Out

As we know that Staff Selection Commission declared the result of Tier-II of SSC MTS 2019 on 30th October 2020, wherein a total of 20902 candidates was qualified for appearing in Document Verification. Now The staff Selection Commission has finally released SSC MTS 2019 final result on 6th March on its official website i.e. @ssc.nic.in.

Steps to check the SSC MTS 2021-22 Final Result

  • Visit the official website i.e. ssc.nic.in or Click on the direct link which is mention above. 

  • Download the result PDF file available.

  • Candidates can use the ctrl-F to search the Roll no. from the Merit list.

Candidates can check their SSC MTS Result for Paper 1 and Paper 2 online.

The steps for checking the result are as follows:

  • First of all, visit the official website – ssc.nic.in.
  • Search for the “result” tab in the header menu on the home page.
  • Click on the “result” tab.
  • A pop-up window will appear on your computer screen containing various tabs such as CHSL, CGL, JE, JHT, etc. Click on the “Departmental exam”.
  • Search for SSC MTS Result. You can find a link that says “click here” under the result column. Click on that link.
  • A PDF will open as you click on the result. It will contain a list of successful candidates.
  • There will be thousands of names on the list. The easiest way to find your result is to press “CTRL +F” on your keyboard.
  • A search box will appear on the page.
  • Type your roll number or name in the search box. Press enter.
  • Your roll number or name will be located automatically on the list.
  • If you cannot find your roll number or name on the list, it means that you have not qualified in the examination.

SSC MTS Cut-off  2016-17 (Final Cut-Off)

After the tier 2 Result, candidates were called for the Document Verification round. Candidates for each State/ UT were finally selected based on their performance in Paper-I, subject to their meeting basic qualifying standards fixed in Paper-II. A total of 23511 candidates qualified for Document Verification against 10674 vacancies reported by User Organizations as on date.

SSC MTS 2020: Frequently Asked Questions(FAQs)-

Q.) Does the Commission entertain a request for change of date of examination if it clashes with exams of other organizations ?
Answer: The Commission does not entertain any request for change of its examination dates in the event of the dates clashing with examination dates of any other organization. The Commission also does not entertain any request for change of Examination Centre and Examination Shift, etc on account of any other reason also.

Q.) Is Registration mandatory for applying to the examinations of the Commission ?
Answer: Yes, One-Time Registration with the Commission is a mandatory prerequisite. On completion of One-Time Registration, candidates can apply online for any examination of the Commission.

Q.) What is the procedure for onetime Registration ?
Answer: For one time registration, click on ‘Register Now’ link provided in login section on SSC website https://ssc.nic.in. Meticulously follow the instructions given in the Registration webpage.

Q.) I am unable to upload my photo and signature while applying for one time Registration ?
Answer: Check size and format of photograph and signature files. Scanned colour passport size photograph should be in JPEG format and file size of the photograph should be in the range of 20 KB to 50 KB. Image dimension of the photograph should be about 3.5 cm (width) x 4.5 cm (height). Similarly, scanned signature file should be in JPEG format having file size ranging from 10 KB to 20 KB. Image dimension of the signature should be about 4.0 cm (width) x 3.0 cm (height). The image of the signature should occupy at least 75% of the frame.

Q.) What If i do not receive registration number and password on the email ?
Answer: You may check the ‘Spam’ folder in your e-mail. If email is not received even in the Spam folder, it is likely that you have entered wrong email-id. You may contact Helpline of the concerned Regional Office through a call or email.

Q.) How to get Registration number and Password, if a candidate forgets it ?
Answer: Go to ‘Forgot Password’ link in the Login section on https://ssc.nic.in and enter required details. On verification through email or mobile OTP, the Registered email-id and Registration Number would be displayed on the screen. You will be prompted to change password. Set your new password and keep it safely for future use.

Q.) I am doing One-time Registration for the first time. Yet when I am trying to save my data in the ‘Basic Information’ tab, the system is giving a message that “User Already Exists”.
Answer: Check your Matriculation Certificate. If ‘Roll Code’ is also given in addition to ‘Roll No’, then in the column 6 (iii) and 6 (iv) of the Registration Form, enter your Roll No in the following format: “Roll Code”-“Roll No”. For example, if the Roll Code given in your Matriculation Certificate is 12345 and Roll No is 1234567, then you have to enter Roll No in column 6 (iii) and 6 (iv) as 12345-12345

Q.) What is the fee to be paid with the application?
Answer: The fee to be paid with the application is Rupees one hundred (Rs. 100/-) for each Examination.

Q.) Who are eligible for exemption from paying fee?
Answer: All female candidates and candidates belonging to Scheduled Caste, Schedule Tribe, Persons with benchmark Disabilities (Divyangjans) and ExServicemen candidates eligible for reservation are exempted from payment of fee.

Q.) How to reprint my offline bank challan?
Answer: Login using your ‘Registration Number’ and ‘SSC Registration Password’ in the login section of the website. Click on the ‘Download Offline Challan’ link of the concerned examination in the ‘Latest Notifications’ Section in your Dashboard.
