SSC CGL 2023 : Exam Pattern
According to SSC CGL New Exam pattern, Staff Selection Commission will conduct the SSC CGL Exam 2024 in 2 stages i.e. Tier 1 and Tier 2. Aspiring candidates must understand the detailed exam pattern which includes the subjects, the number of questions in each section and also the duration of the exam. Candidates must note that the SSC CGL Tier 1 is qualifying in nature as well as compulsory for all posts and Tier 2 is scoring in nature. In this article, we have thoroughly discussed the revised SSC CGL Exam Pattern.
SSC CGL Exam Pattern 2023 for Tier 1
SSC will hold a computer-based examination with 100 multiple-choice questions. There are 4 sections in the Tier 1 exam of SSC CGL, with 100 questions that account for a total of 200 marks. The subject-wise SSC CGL Exam Pattern 2024 details are given below:

Note: For every wrong question There will be a negative marking of 1 mark for each wrong answer in Section-I, Section-II, and Module-I of Section-III of Paper-I and 0.50 marks for each wrong answer in Paper-II and Paper-III.
The SSC CGL Data Entry Speed Test (DEST) will be conducted by SSC and it is mandatory for all posts. It is included under the Module-II of Section-III of Paper-I and the duration is 15 minutes. Check the DEST details below.
