SBI SO 2019: Eligibility Criteria

Candidates should check SBI SO 2019 eligibility prior to filling the application form. It is recommended that only those contestants who fulfil SBI SO Eligibility Criteria should apply for the SBI SO exam. The aspirants should satisfy the criteria in age, nationality and all other categories.
 
Age
  1. The least possible age of an applicant is in between 21 to 30 years depending upon the Post.
  2. The maximum age of an applicant can be in between 30-40 years.
Nationality
  1. Only Citizens of India are eligible to apply for SBI SO 2019.
  2. OCI and NRIs cannot apply for the exam.
Educational Qualification
  1. The educational criteria and experience varies depending upon the post applied for. The criteria for different posts are given below:

  3. The candidates should be graduated in engineering from a government recognized university/institute.
  4. An Applicant should have some experience in IT sector.

For Assistant Manager (System) post:

  1. Applicants must own a B.E/B. Tech in Information Technology/Computer Science/Computer Application/ Electronics/ Electronics & Telecommunications/ Electronics & Instrumentation / Electronics & Communications.        
  2. Applicant should have some experience in computer programming from a reputed organization.
For Technology Relationship Manager (Tech.RMs) post:
  1. Candidate should be a graduate in Engineering from any recognized University /Institution.
  2. Preference is given to the contenders with MBA qualification.
  3. Minimum 8 years of experience in IT Industry/ Business is needed for this post.
For Manager and Assistant Manager (Technician) post:
  1. One needs to have a full time PG Degree in Econometrics/ Statistics/ Applied Statistics.     
  2. Minimum experience of 4/1 years is required for this job position.

 

SBI SO 2019: Exam Pattern

There is separate exam to recruit Specialist Officers as Assistant Managers, Engineers, officers, Architects, designers, administrators, Tester, Manager, analysts, Developers, Test lead, innovation specialist, and various other Posts on the regular/ contractual basis. The exam pattern for each of them is different.

SBI SO Exam Pattern (For Systems, CA and Engineering Officers)

The exam for the post of Systems, CA and Engineering Officers will be conducted in two parts. Candidates will have to attempt Question Paper 1 and Question Paper 2. Question paper 1 will be conducted for 90 minutes. Candidates will be asked to answer 120 questions from three sections namely, English Language, Reasoning Ability, Quantitative Aptitude. For the post of Law Officers, applicants will have to attempt 2 papers- Question Paper 1 and Question Paper 2. Descriptive Exam

SBI SO 2019: Pre - Exam Training

The Pre Exam Training is conducted for the candidates who belongs to SC/ST and Minority Communities. The main aim of the Pre Exam Training is to provide training facilities to improve the abilities and to enhance the capabilities of under privilege candidates. The training is free of cost, but all the other expenses like travelling, accommodation, food etc. must be paid by the candidates themselves. Pre Exam Training for rbi assistant exam is specially conducted for candidates who could not afford to take admission in private coaching institutes.During the training, candidates will get to know the exam pattern, expected questions, tips & techniques to solve the problems, how to manage time during rbi assistant exam and how to prepare for the Exam. Training is conducted for five days just before the start of Preliminary Exam. Candidates who wish to appear Pre Exam Training must select the relevant option at the time of Online Registration.
