SBI CLERK 2019-EXAM PATTERN

DEAR STUDENTS,

SBI Clerk Exam pattern is expected to remain the same in the year 2019 as no official notification has been released for the change in the exam pattern. SBI Clerk 2019 exam will be conducted in two stages namely Preliminary and Mains examinations. Aspirants who will qualify the SBI clerk 2019 Prelims paper in October/ November 2019 will be eligible for the Mains Examination, which are expected to take place in the month of December 2019.

 

SBI CLERK SELECTION PROCEDURE-

State Bank of India (SBI)’s Junior Associate (Customer Support & Sales) in Clerical Cadre exam selection process details are given below:-

  1. Phase I: Prelims Examination

  2. Phase II: Mains Examination

  3. Phase III: Test of specified opted local language:

Phase-I: Preliminary Examination:

Preliminary Examination consists of Objective Tests for 100 marks and will be conducted online. This test would be of 1-hour duration consisting of 3 Sections as follows. Each test will have separate timing as mentioned below.

Phase-II: Main Examination (Online):

Mains Examination consists of Objective Tests for 200 marks and will be conducted online. This test would be of 2 hours 40 minutes duration consisting of  4 Sections as follows. Each test will have separate timing as mentioned below.

IMPORTANT POINT:-

  • There is no sectional cut off in SBI Clerk in Prelims and Mains both.
  • Each test will have separate timing as mentioned above.

  • There will be negative marks for wrong answers in the Objective tests. 1/4th of the mark assigned for question will be deducted for each wrong answer.

  • No minimum qualifying marks for individual subjects as well as for aggregate (overall) are prescribed.

  • Adequate number of candidates in each category as decided by the Bank (approximately 10 times the numbers of vacancies. subject to availability) will be shortlisted for the Main Examination from the list of all candidates arranged in descending order of aggregate marks scored

Phase-III: Test of specified opted local language:

Those who qualify for selection and produce 10th or 12th standard mark sheet certificate evidencing having studied the specified opted local language will not be subjected to any Language test. In the case of others (qualified for selection), specified opted local language tests will be conducted after provisional selection but before joining. Candidates not found to be proficient in specified opted local language would be disqualified.

Final Selection:
I. Verification of eligibility for the post and information furnished in the online application
II. Qualifying in the test of specified opted local language, where applicable, as detailed above
