IBPS SO 2019 Notification, Eligibility, Exam Pattern

IBPS SO 2019 is going to be conducted by the Institute of Banking Personnel Selection to select eligible candidates for various posts like that of Agriculture Field Officer, Marketing Officer (Scale I), HR/Personnel Officer, IT Officer Scale I, Law Officer and Rajbhasha Adhikari Scale I. The notification for the same will be released shortly by IBPS. With the release of Official Notification, the Recruitment Process of IBPS SO 2019 will start.

Application for the Specilist Officer (SO) will be subject to various eligibility criteria as mentioned in the official IBPS SO Notification. Applicants need to fulfill the required eligibility to apply for IBPS SO 2019.

Educational Qualification :
All candidates must check their eligibility before applying for the post that they are eligible for the post or not. Eligibility Criteria of SO Exam covers participant education qualification, age criteria, etc. Qualification standard different for every post checks it.
 
IT Officer (Scale I) : Candidate must have completed 4 year Engineering Degree in Computer Science / Computer Applications/ Information Technology / Electronics / Electronics & Telecommunications / Electronics & Communication / Electronics & Instrumentation OR  Post Graduate Degree in Electronics / Electronics & Tele Communication / Electronics & Communication / Electronics & Instrumentation / Computer Science / Information Technolog y/ Computer Applications OR Graduate having passed DOEACC ‘B’ level.
 
Agricultural Field Officer (Scale I): Candidate must have completed 4 year Degree (graduation) in Agriculture / Horticulture /Animal Husbandry / Veterinary Science / Dairy Science / Agriculture Engineering / Fishery Science/ Pisciculture / Agri Marketing & Cooperation / Co-operation & Banking/ Agro-Forestry.
 
Rajbhasha Adhikari (Scale I): Candidates must have Post Graduate Degree in Hindi with English as a subject at the degree (graduation) level OR Post graduate degree in Sanskrit with English and Hindi as subjects at the degree (graduation) level.
 
Law Officer (Scale I): A Bachelor Degree in Law (LLB) and enrolled as an advocate with Bar Council.
 
HR/Personnel Officer (Scale I): Graduate and Regular Post Graduate degree or Regular Post Graduate Diploma in Personnel Management / Industrial Relations/ HR/HRD/ Social Work / Labour Law.
 
Marketing Officer (Scale I): Graduate and Full-time MBA (Marketing) / Full time two years PGDBA/ PGDBM with specialization in Marketing
 

IBPS SO 2019 : Exam Pattern

It consists of a paper of objective type (multiple choice questions) and carries a maximum of 125 marks.This is a screening test only to qualify for the next step and its marks will not be counted for determining their final order of merit.

Interview Detail :       

Candidates who have been shortlisted in the Main examination for CRP SPL-VII under the latest IBPS SO exam pattern will subsequently be called for an Interview. The total marks allotted for Interview is 100. The minimum qualifying marks in the interview will not be less than 40% (35% for SC/ ST/ OBC/ PWD candidates). Candidate should qualify both in the Online CWE (Main Examination) and interview and be sufficiently high in the merit to be shortlisted for subsequent provisional allotment process.

IBPS SO Preliminary Exam Syllabus
IBPS SO Preliminary Exam is the primary selection round of IBPS SO 2018 Exam. Candidates who clear the preliminary exam are eligible to appear for the mains exam. The Preliminary Exam of IBPS SO 2018 comprises of three major sections: Reasoning, English Language and Quantitative Aptitude / General Awareness with Special Reference to Banking Industry (For the post of Law Officer and Rajbhasha Adhikari).

IBPS SO 2019  :Pre - Exam Training

The Pre Exam Training is conducted for the candidates who belongs to SC/ST and Minority Communities. The main aim of the Pre Exam Training is to provide training facilities to improve the abilities and to enhance the capabilities of under privilege candidates.The training is free of cost, but all the other expenses like travelling, accommodation, food etc. must be paid by the candidates themselves.Pre Exam Training for IBPS Bank Exam is specially conducted for candidates who could not afford to take admission in private coaching institutes.During the training, candidates will get to know the exam pattern, expected questions, tips & techniques to solve the problems, how to manage time during IBPS exam and how to prepare for the Exam.Training is conducted for five days just before the start of Preliminary Exam. IBPS SO 2019: Salary

Here in this portion, you can upgrade your knowledge with the detailed Salary Structure of a Specialist Officer in IBPS Banks.
Below we are discussing the Salary Details of Officer Scale 1 and Officer Scale 2.
 
Junior Management Grade Scale 1 Officer
Pay Scale - INR 14500+(600x7) - 18700+(700x2) - 20100+(800x7) – 25700/-In Hand Salary – INR 24000-32000 per month.
 
Middle Management Grade Scale 2 Officer
Pay Scale - INR 19400+(700x1) - 20100+(800x10) – 28100/-In Hand Salary – INR 34,000-40,000 per month.
Note:
#After completion of the 1st year, an increment of INR 700 will be due on the basic pay.
#After 1st Increment, the increment of INR 800 will be applied to the basic pay for the next 10 years.
 
IBPS IT Officer Salary Structure –
Pay Scale – INR 23700-(980x7)-30560-(1145x2)-32850-(1310x7)-42020.
It means that the –
Basic Salary of IT Officer in starting is – INR 23,700 but after 7 years it will be raised to INR 30,560 with the increment of INR 980 rupees.
 And later, after 2 years this incremented salary will be raised to INR 32,850 after applying the increment of INR 1145 rupees and so the procedure goes on.
Job Perks and Other Allowances are as follows!

Dearness Allowance (DA)    39.80% of the Basic Pay (Revised Quarterly)
Special Allowance (SA)   7.75% of the Basic Pay
Human Resource Allowances (HRA) 9.0% or 8.0% or 7.0% (Depends on the place of posting)
City Compensatory Allowance (CCA)   4% or 3%

The Salary is credited in the account by 25th of every month and the HRA is credited by the month end.

A candidate is required to pay Rs. 600/- (General and OBC) as his/her application fee for IBPS SO 2019 exam. The same amount is narrowed down to Rs. 100/- for candidates belonging to SC/ST/PWD category. The Online Application will start once the notification has been released by IBPS.
 
The IBPS SO 2019 admit card will be released once the application process for the same is complete. Admit card for Preliminary Exam will be released first followed by the admit card for Mains Exam. The admit card for Mains Exam will be issued to candidates who have qualified the preliminary test.
