Regional Rural Bank (RRB) has released notification for recruitment of Group “A”- Officers (Scale-I, II & III) and Group “B”-Office Assistant (Multipurpose) will be conducted by the Institute of Banking Personnel Selection (IBPS) tentatively between August and October 2018. The Online application will be started from 08-06-2018 and the application will be closed on 02-07-2018. All the eligible candidates can apply for the same. Job profile and Career growth of IBPS RRB Office Assistant: Office Assistant is an entry-level job also called clerical job; after joining as Assistant one has immense opportunities to be promoted to higher levels.

Job profile of IBPS RRB 2018 Office Assistant:

1. Office Assistants have to undergo for a probation period for 6 months after their final selection.
2. Office Assistants have to do multitask like account opening, cash transactions, passbook printing, fund/ money transfers/ withdrawals, handle cash counters etc.
3. As you know that you are selected by Regional Rural Bank so you have to listen to the financial queries faced by farmers, who are usually the customers of these banks and provide them with proper solutions for the same.

Growth Opportunity:  

The growth opportunity depends upon the performance of the candidate after working for 3 years. The office assistant can be promoted to Probationary Officer/Assistant Manager.
