The online examinations for the next Common Recruitment Process for RRBs (CRP  RRBs VIII) for recruitment of Group“B”- Office Assistant(Multipurpose) will be conducted by the Institute of Banking Personnel Selection (IBPS) tentatively in August and September 2019. IBPS RRB ASSISTANT  2019: Eligibility Criteria:

Application for the IBPS RRB ASSISTANT will be subject to various eligibility criteria as mentioned in the official IBPS RRB ASSISTANT Notification. Applicants need to fulfill the required eligibility to apply for IBPS RRB ASSISTANT 2019.

It is necessary to satisfy all the three IBPS Clerk Eligibility 2019 Conditions:

  • a Citizen of India or a subject of Nepal or 
  • a subject of Bhutan or 
  • a Tibetan Refugee who came over to India before 1st January 1962 with the intention of permanently settling in India or
  • a person of Indian origin who has migrated from Pakistan, Burma, Sri Lanka, East African countries of Kenya, Uganda, the United Republic of Tanzania (formerly Tanganyika and Zanzibar), Zambia, Malawi, Zaire, Ethiopia and Vietnam with the intention of permanently settling in India, provided that a candidate belonging to categories (ii), (iii), (iv) & (v) above shall be a person in whose favour a certificate of eligibility has been issued by the Government of India.
Language Proficiency Candidates applying for the posts of Office Assistant in any particular RRB are required to possess proficiency in the local language of the State/ UT in which the RRB is situated to be eligible for interview.
Age Limit (As on 01.06.2019) For Office Assistant (Multipurpose)- Between 18 years and 28 years i.e. candidates should have not been born earlier than 02.06.1991 and later than 01.06.2001 (both dates inclusive).

IBPS RRB ASSISTANT  2019: Pre-Exam Training

Bank may  arrange  pre-examination  training  at  certain  centres  for  SC/ST/Religious Minority Community candidates in consonance with the guidelines issued by Government of India. Candidates belonging to the above categories who desire to avail themselves of such  training  at  their  own  cost  may  indicate  to  that  effect  against  relevant  column  while applying on-line. IBPS RRB ASSISTANT  2019: Admit Card

IBPS will release the admit card on their official website after the application process is completed. Different Admit Cards will be issued for both Preliminary and Mains Examination for both Assistant and Office Assistant. The admit cards are now available to download. Go through the following step-by-step guide to download the admit card.

  • You need to first visit the official website of IBPS at www.ibps.in/crp-rrb-vii/
  • Look for the CRP RRBs- Assistant call letter link and open it.
  • In the login panel, enter the registration number and date of birth and submit.
  • After logging in, you will see the IBPS RRB Office Assistant call letter.
  • Examine each and every detail and download the admit card.
  • Take a couple of copies of the same for the examination purpose. 

You need to be handy with the registration number and the Date of Birth (DOB) in order to access and download the admit card.

IBPS RRB ASSISTANT  2019: Result
IBPS will declare the results after conducting exams for each stage for both Assistant and Officer Grade. Candidates are required to clear the preliminary round in order to give their Mains Exam. Candidates who make it to the final merit list will be offered the call letter to join the organization.

IBPS RRB ASSISTANT  2019: Previous Year Exam-Analysis

  • The IBPS RRB 2018 Office Assistant Exam was tougher than the last year. Difficulty level of the Quantitative Aptitude & Reasoning Section was moderate to tough.
  • The exam was held in four slots comprising of 45 minutes each. IBPS RRB Clerk Prelims Exam is held only for two sections – Quantitative Aptitude & Reasoning.
  • Total number of questions were 80. Both sections hold equal marking weightage of 40 marks each.
  • The Paper was based on the old pattern & there were no major changes apart from few new topics introduced with higher marking weightage.

1.) What are the eligibility criteria to apply for the IBPS RRB Assistant 2019 recruitment? 
a.The candidate must be between 18 – 28 years of age; therefore, their date of birth must NOT be before 02/06/1990 and after 01/06/2000 (both dates are inclusive in this case). Age relaxation is provided as per the norms.

b.The candidate must possess a Bachelor degree in ANY discipline from any recognized university or equivalent.

In both cases, there will be cut-offs that candidates must pass to move to the next stage. Also, there will be negative marking of 25% of the total marks allotted to a question for every wrong answer.
