SBI Apprentice 2021 Notification: 6100 Vacancies Released

SBI has released 6100 vacancies for the recruitment of Apprentices on 5th July 2021 on its official website at www.sbi.co.in. Applications are invited from Indian Citizens for engagement as apprentices under the Apprentice Act 1961. Candidates can apply for the recruitment in one state only. The State-wise seats of apprentices, Age, Educational Qualification, Duration of training, Training,Stipend, Selection Process, Examination Centres, Fees and other related parameters are mentioned below in this page. SBI Apprentice 2021 Exam Dates

As we know that SBI has announced the recruitment notification on 5th July 2021 for 6100 posts of Apprentice on its official website at www.sbi.co.in. The State Bank of India has scheduled to conduct the SBI Apprentice Exam in the month of August 2021. However, the exam has been postponed. The online registration for the SBI apprentice exam has been started from 6th July 2021 and ended on 26th July 2021. SBI Apprentice 2021 Eligibility Criteria

Application for the SBI Apprentice will subject to various eligibility criteria as mentioned in the official SBI Apprentice 2021 Notification. Applicants need to fulfill the required eligibility to apply for SBI Apprentice 2021. For more information about eligibility criteria, candidates can check the official notification that is given above.
 
(1) Age (As on 31.10.2020)
  • Minimum: 20 years           
  • Maximum: 28 years
(2) Essential Academic Qualifications: (As on 31.10.2021) 
  • Graduation from a recognized University/Institute.
Duration of Training: 
Three years only. The selected apprentices should be willing to qualify in the examinations of IIBF (JAIIB/CAIIB) during 3 years apprenticeship engagement in the Bank.

SBI Apprentice 2021 Exam Pattern 

The selection for SBI Apprentice 2021 is based on the (1) Online Examination (2) Local Language Test and (3) Medical Examination.

The questions will be bilingual i.e., English & Hindi, except for the test of General English. There will be negative marks for wrong answers in the Objective tests. 1/4th of mark assigned for question will be deducted for each wrong answer. Candidates are required to score a minimum percentage marks on aggregate (For SC/ST/OBC/PWD candidates, 5% relaxation available thereon). Minimum qualifying marks on aggregate will be as decided by the Bank. There are no minimum qualifying marks for individual subject. Merit list will be drawn State wise and category wise. Candidates qualified in the test will be placed according to their aggregate marks in descending order in respective States and Categories. In case more than one candidate scores same marks as cut-off marks in the merit list (common marks at cut off point) such candidate will be ranked in the merit list according to their age in descending order in respective States and categories.

Selection for engagement of apprentices would be based on the basis of online written test and test of local language.

2. Test of the local language:
The test for knowledge of specified opted local language will be conducted as a part of the selection process. It will be conducted after qualifying the online written examination. Candidates who fail to qualify this test will not be engaged for an apprentice. Candidates who produce 10th or 12th standard mark sheet/ certificate evidencing having studied the specified opted local language will not be required to undergo the language test. Candidates will have to appear for the test of specified opted local language at a centre (to be decided by the Bank) of the State applied for, at his/her own expenses.
 
3. Medical Examination:
Engagement of selected apprentices is subject to his/her being declared medically fit as per the requirement of the Bank.

SBI Apprentice 2021 Admit Card

The SBI Apprentice 2020 Online Examination is tentatively scheduled to be held in Jan 2021. Candidates should download their Admit Cards from the Official website of SBI i.e. www.sbi.co.in. The Admit Card for the same will be made available on the website in the last week of Dec 2020 (tentatively).
