1. FORMALITY (noun) - औपचारिकता
Pronunciation: fo-mali-ti
Meaning: the rigid observance of convention or etiquette; strictly conventional behavior; a thing that is done simply to comply with convention, regulations, or custom
Synonyms: ceremony, ritual, conventionality, protocol, decorum; rule, regulation, convention
Antonym: informality
Usage: The loan was arranged with little formality.

2. BANAL (adjective) - घिसा-पिटा
Pronunciation: bun-aal
Meaning: boring, ordinary, and not original; too often used in the past and therefore not interesting
Synonyms: trite, hackneyed, clichéd, platitudinous, vapid
Antonym: original
Usage: It was just another banal newspaper story.

3. DISBAND (verb) - विघटित करना
Pronunciation: dis-band
Meaning: (with reference to an organized group) break up or cause to break up
Synonyms: break up, disperse, demobilize, dissolve, scatter, separate
Antonym: assemble
Usage: The government tried to disband the illegal organization.

4. DISSENT (noun, verb) - मतभेद
Pronunciation: di-sent
Meaning: the holding or expression of opinions at variance with those commonly or officially held
Synonyms: disagreement, demur, dispute
Antonyms: agreement, acceptance; assent, agree, accept
Usage: Few historians would dissent from this view.

5. REMISS (adjective) - बेपरवाह
Pronunciation: ri-mis
Meaning: lacking care or attention to duty
Synonyms: negligent, neglectful, irresponsible, careless, thoughtless, heedless
Antonyms: careful, diligent, painstaking
Usage: It was remiss of him to forget her birthday.

6. EUPHEMISM (noun) - प्रेयोक्ति
Pronunciation: yoo-fum-izm
Meaning: a mild or indirect word or expression substituted for one considered to be too harsh or blunt when referring to something unpleasant or embarrassing
Synonyms: substitute, understatement, underplaying, softening, politeness, genteelism
Antonym: dysphemism
Usage: Because people felt the title of “garbage man” was unappealing, the euphemism of “sanitation engineer” was created.

7. EPIDEMIC (noun) - महामारी
Pronunciation: epi-demik
Meaning: a widespread occurrence of an infectious disease in a community at a particular time
Synonyms: outbreak, scourge, infestation
Usage: Foul drinking water was blamed for the epidemic.

8. AVERT (verb) - फेर लेना
Pronunciation: avert
Meaning: turn away (one's eyes or thoughts)
Synonyms: prevent, avoid
Usage: She averted her eyes while we made conversation.

9. EVANESCENT (adjective) - शीघ्र लुप्त होनेवाला
Pronunciation: evunes(u)nt
Meaning: quickly fading or disappearing
Synonyms: vanishing, fading, evaporating, disappearing, diminishing, dwindling
Antonyms: unlimited, permanent
Usage: Talk is evanescent but writing leaves footprints.

10. OVERTHROW (noun, verb) - हटाना
Pronunciation: over-thro
Meaning: remove forcibly from power; a removal from power
Synonyms: topple, undo, depose, oust, displace; downfall, fall, collapse, toppling
Usage: Jealous of her popularity, Laura wanted to overthrow Sarah as the most popular girl in school and take her place for herself.
