1.  APPRISE (verb) – सूचना देना
Pronunciation: up-raiz
Meaning: inform or tell someone
Synonyms: inform, notify, tell
Usage: We must apprise them of the dangers.

2. CONTEMN (verb) – नफ़रत करना
Pronunciation: kun-tem
Meaning: treat or regard with contempt
Synonyms: despise, scorn, disdain, slight, undervalue
Antonym: value
Usage: The wicked men contemn God.

3. GROUCH (noun, verb) – असंतुष्ट व्यक्ति; बड़बड़ाना
Pronunciation: grauch
Meaning: a person who often complains habitually; to complain in an angry way
Synonyms: discontent, malcontent; grumble, complain, grouse
Usage:

• Her dad is a terrible grouch. (noun)
• He is always grouching about something. (verb)

4. APPROBATION (noun) – समर्थन, प्रशंसा
Pronunciation: up-ro-bei-sh(u)n
Meaning: approval or praise
Synonyms: approval, acceptance, assent, endorsement, encouragement
Antonym: criticism
Usage: Your child really wants your approbation.

5. HOLLER (verb, noun) – चिल्लाना; चिल्लाहट
Pronunciation: holuh
Meaning: give a loud shout or cry; a loud cry or shout
Synonyms: shout, yell, cry
Antonym: whisper
Usage:

• Don't holler at me. (verb)
• If you need anything, just give me holler. (noun)

6. VALOUR (noun) – वीरता
Pronunciation: valuh
Meaning: great courage in the face of danger, especially in battle
Synonyms: bravery, courage, fearlessness, pluck
Antonym: cowardice
Usage: He showed valour and skill on the battlefield.

7. ZEALOUS (adjective) – उत्साही
Pronunciation: zelus
Meaning: having or showing great energy or enthusiasm
Synonyms: fervent, ardent, fervid, fiery, passionate
Antonyms: apathetic, indifferent
Usage: As I looked around the football stadium, I saw many zealous fans wearing face paint.

8. CONTUMELY (noun) – अवहेलना, अवज्ञा
Pronunciation: kon-tyoo-mili
Meaning: insulting language or treatment
Synonyms: abuse, insults, slurs, aspersions, derision, invective
Antonyms: compliments, flattery
Usage: Although my sister is a very nice person, she will speak with contumely when she is angry.

9. DELECTABLE (adjective) – स्वादिष्ट; मनोरम
Pronunciation: di-lek-tub(u)l
Meaning: (of food or drink) delicious; extremely attractive
Synonyms: delicious, mouth-watering, appetizing, flavoursome, flavourful, toothsome; delightful, lovely, adorable, captivating, charming, enchanting, winning, engaging, appealing
Antonyms: inedible, unpalatable; ugly, unattractive
Usage:

• I could not stop eating the delectable dish.
• The delectable girl is walking down the lane.

10. VOUCH (verb) – साक्ष्य देना
Pronunciation: vauch
Meaning: to be able from your knowledge or experience to say that something is true
Synonyms: confirm, affirm, verify
Usage: Experts vouch for the painting's authenticity.
