1. GLEAN (verb) – जानकारी बटोरना
Pronunciation: gleen
Meaning: obtain (information) from various sources, often with difficulty
Synonyms: obtain, get, take, draw, derive, extract
Usage: Several lessons can be gleaned from our experience so far.

2. CUSTOMARY (adjective) – प्रथागत
Pronunciation: kustum(u)ri
Meaning: according to the customs or usual practices associated with a particular society, place, or set of circumstances; according to a person's habitual practice
Synonyms: usual, traditional, normal, conventional, familiar
Antonyms: unusual, exceptional, rare
Usage: It is customary to offer a drink or a snack to guests.

3. STOUT (adjective) – मोटा, बलवान, साहसी
Pronunciation: staut
Meaning: (of a person) rather fat or of heavy build
Synonyms: fat, plump, portly, rotund, roly-poly
Antonyms: thin, slender; half-hearted, feeble
Usage: He was a tall, stout man with gray hair.

4. TERMINATION (noun) – समाप्ति
Pronunciation:
ter-mi-nei-shun
Meaning: the action of bringing something to end
Synonyms: ending, end, closing, close, conclusion
Antonyms: start, beginning
Usage: The landlord gave notice of the termination of tenancy.

5. IMPOSTOR (noun) – पाखण्डी, कपटी  
Pronunciation: im-poster
Meaning: a person who pretends to be someone else in order to deceive others, especially for fraudulent gain
Synonyms: impersonator, pretender, hoaxer, fake
Usage: The nurse was soon discovered to be an impostor.

6. CULMINATION (noun) – परिणति, पराकाष्ठा
Pronunciation: kul-mi-nei-shun
Meaning: the highest or climactic point of something, especially as attained after a long time
Synonyms: climax, pinnacle, peak, high point
Antonym: nadir
Usage: They marked the successful culmination of a long campaign.

7. APOSTASY (noun) – स्वधर्मत्याग
Pronunciation:
upo-stusi
Meaning: the abandonment or renunciation of a religious or political belief or principle
Synonyms: treachery, perfidy, disloyalty
Antonym: loyalty
Usage: In those days apostasy was punishable by death.

8. ABOMINATION (noun) – अति घृणा
Pronunciation: ub-omi-nei-sh(u)n
Meaning: a thing that causes disgust; a feeling of hatred
Synonyms: atrocity, disgrace, horror, obscenity; detestation, loathing, hatred, aversion
Antonyms: liking, love
Usage: She regarded smoking with abomination.

9. GUSTO (noun) – उत्साह, जोश
Pronunciation:
gusto
Meaning: enjoyment and enthusiasm in doing something
Synonyms: enthusiasm, relish, appetite, enjoyment, delight
Antonyms: apathy, distaste
Usage: Everyone joined in the singing with great gusto.

10. GLEE (noun) – उल्लास, आनंद
Pronunciation: glee
Meaning: great delight, especially from one's own good fortune or another's misfortune
Synonyms: delight, pleasure, happiness, joy
Antonyms: gloom, disappointment
Usage: She opened her presents with glee.
