Antonyms: calm, quiet, restrained
Usage: These students are obstreperous.
5. ACRID (adjective) – तीखा, कटु

10. HOI POLLOI (noun) – जनता, सामान्य लोग
Pronunciation: hoi-pol-oi
Meaning: the masses; the common people
Synonyms: the public, the people, the multitude, the crowd
Antonyms: the elite, the aristocracy
Usage: They had little faith that the hoi polloi would very soon be using computers.
