1. GINGERLY (adverb) – एहतियात से
Pronunciation: jin-juli
Meaning: in a careful or cautious manner
Synonyms: cautiously, carefully
Antonyms: carelessly, recklessly
Usage: He opened the box gingerly and looked inside.

2. FORLORN (adjective) – अकेला; असहाय
Pronunciation: fur-lo-n
Meaning: pitifully sad and abandoned or lonely
Synonyms: unhappy, sad, miserable, sorrowful, dejected, despondent
Antonym: happy
Usage: She looked so forlorn, standing there in the pouring rain.

3. UNSETTLE (verb) – अशांत या अस्थिर करना
Pronunciation: un-set(u)l
Meaning: cause to feel anxious or uneasy
Synonyms: discompose, unnerve, upset, disturb, disquiet
Antonyms: calming, comforting, lulling
Usage: This strike may unsettle the economy.

4. PALLOR (noun) – पीलापन, फीकापन

8. CUBBYHOLE (noun) – आरामदेह कमरा, एक छोटा सा एकांत कमरे

Meaning: a small enclosed space or room
Synonyms: booth, cubicle, snug, cubby, compartment
Antonym: hall
Usage: My bedroom is really a cubbyhole.

9. NARCISSISM (noun) – आत्ममोह
Pronunciation: naa-sisi-zm
Meaning: excessive interest in or admiration of oneself and one's physical appearance
Synonyms: vanity, self-love, self-admiration, self-adulation, self-absorption, self-obsession, conceit, self-conceit
Antonyms: modesty, diffidence
Usage: After being accused of narcissism, the young girl tried to stop looking at herself in the mirror.

10. PLUCKY (adjective) – हिम्मती, साहसी
Pronunciation: pluki
Meaning: face difficulties with courage (despite being weak)
Synonyms: brave, spirited, courageous, bold, daring, fearless, intrepid
Antonyms: cowardly, timid, timorous
Usage: The plucky youngster had four operations during her long battle against the illness.
