1. CLEMENCY (noun) – दया
Pronunciation: klemunsi
Meaning: mercy; lenience
Synonyms: mercy, mercifulness, leniency, lenience, mildness
Antonyms: ruthlessness, strictness
Usage: He appealed to the judge for clemency.

2. UNFLAPPABLE (adjective) – अविचलित
Pronunciation: un-flap-ub(u)l
Meaning: having or showing calmness in a crisis
Synonyms: imperturbable, unexcitable, cool, calm, collected
Antonym: excitable
Usage: A good radio-host must be unflappable.

3. EMPATHY (noun) – सहानुभूति
Pronunciation: em-puthi
Meaning: the ability to understand and share the feelings of another
Synonyms: affinity with, rapport with, sympathy with, understanding of, sensitivity towards
Antonym: distance
Usage: She had great empathy with people.

4. OBSOLETE (adjective) – लुप्तप्रयोग
Pronunciation: obsul-eet
Meaning: no longer produced or used; out of date
Synonyms: out of date, outdated, outmoded, old-fashioned, disused, outworn
Antonyms: contemporary, current, modern, new, up to date
Usage: Most factories in the area are obsolete and badly managed.

5. ABSTINENCE (noun) – संयम, परहेज़
Pronunciation: absti-nuns
Meaning: the practice of stopping oneself from doing anything
Synonyms: temperance, sobriety, abstention, celibacy, chastity
Antonym: promiscuity
Usage: The patient should practice total abstinence from smoking.

6. EXIGENCY (noun) – अत्यावश्यकता
Pronunciation: eksi-junsi / egzi-junsi / igzi-junsi
Meaning: an urgent need or demand
Synonyms: need, demand, requirement, want, necessity, essential, requisite
Usage: The president is free to act in any sudden exigency.

7. UNDERCOVER (adjective) – गुप्त
Pronunciation: under-kuver
Meaning: involving secret work within a community or organization, especially for the purposes of police investigation or espionage
Synonyms: covert, secret, clandestine, private, confidential, conspiratorial
Antonyms: open, overt
Usage: They had undercover agents everywhere in the hotel.

8. TACTIC (noun) – युक्ति, कार्यनीति
Pronunciation: tak-tik
Meaning: an action or strategy carefully planned to achieve a specific end
Synonyms: strategy, scheme, stratagem, plan
Usage: It's time to try a change of tactic.

9. OBSTREPEROUS (adjective) – कोलाहलमय
Pronunciation: ubstrep(u)rus
Meaning: noisy and difficult to control
Synonyms: unruly, unmanageable, disorderly, undisciplined, uncontrollable
Antonyms: calm, quiet, restrained
Usage: The boy is cocky and obstreperous.

10. INSOLVENCY (noun) – दिवालियापन
Pronunciation: in-sol-vunsi
Meaning: the state of being unable to pay debts owed
Synonyms: bankruptcy, liquidation, failure, collapse, ruin
Antonyms: solvency
Usage: The club was facing insolvency.
