1. UNHINGE (verb) – परेशान करना
Pronunciation: un-hinj
Meaning: make (someone) mentally unbalanced
Synonyms: deranged, demented, unbalanced, crazed
Antonyms: sane, stable
Usage: He was unhinged by his wife's death.

2. MALINGER (verb) – चालबाज़ी करना; काम को टालना
Pronunciation: mul-inguh
Meaning: pretend to be ill in order to escape duty or work
Synonyms: sham, shirk, skulk, skive
Usage: The lazy student tried to malinger when it was time to work on his essay.

3. CRINGE (verb, noun) – आंतरिक शर्मिंदगी या घृणा का अनुभव
Pronunciation: krinj
Meaning: experience an inward shiver of embarrassment or disgust; an act of cringing
Synonyms: cower, shrink, pull back, recoil; wince, squirm, blush, flush
Usage:
• I cringe with embarrassment when I look at old photos of myself at over 100 kg. (verb) 
• She felt cringe at the memory of her insult. (noun)

4. TINGE (verb, noun) – रंगना; हलका रंग
Pronunciation: tinj
Meaning: colour slightly; a trace of a colour; a slight trace of a feeling or quality
Synonyms: tint, colour, dye, stain, shade, tone, hue
Usage: 
• I bought a bouquet of white blossom tinged with pink. (verb)
• His skin had an unhealthy greyish tinge. (noun)

5. BLOT (noun, verb) – धब्बा; दाग लगाना
Pronunciation: blot
Meaning: a dark mark or stain made by ink, paint, dirt, etc.; a shameful act or quality that damages an otherwise good character or reputation; to dry (a wet surface) using an absorbent material; mark or stain (something)
Synonyms: spot, dot, mark, speck, fleck; blemish, taint, flaw; absorb; smudge, smear, blotch, mark, speckle
Antonyms: exude, moisten; honour, enhance
Usage: 
• There is a blot of ink on the paper. (noun)
• This shameful act is a blot on his image. (noun)
• After sauce on her dress, the woman took a napkin and began to blot the stain. (verb)
• Dark patches of dirt blotted the grey dress. (verb)

6. CESSION (noun) – अर्पण, स्वत्व त्याग, अध्यर्पण
Pronunciation: seshun
Meaning: the formal giving up of rights, property, or territory by a state
Synonyms: surrender, surrendering, ceding, conceding, concession
Antonym: gain
Usage: The cession of the territory could not be avoided because they lost the war.

7. ACCRUE (verb) – उपाजित होना
Pronunciation: uk-roo
Meaning: (of a benefit or sum of money) be received by someone in regular or increasing amounts over time
Synonyms: result, arise, follow, ensue, emanate, stem, spring
Antonym: dissipate, decrease, diminish, reduce
Usage: Interest will accrue until payment is made.

8. MAUL (verb) – मारना, पीटना, आलोचना करना
Pronunciation: mo-l
Meaning: treat (something) savagely or roughly; subject to fierce criticism
Synonyms: criticize, denigrate, attack, censure, condemn
Antonyms: pamper, nurture, comfort
Usage: 
• The body was badly mauled in battle.
• She was mauled by the media.

9. ENVISAGE (verb) – परिकल्पना करना
Pronunciation: in-vizij / en-vizij
Meaning: to imagine or expect something in the future, especially something good
Synonyms: foresee, predict, forecast, foretell, anticipate, expect
Usage: What level of profit do you envisage?

10. TATTERS (noun) – चिथड़े; फटे कपड़े
Pronunciation: tat-uz
Meaning: irregularly torn pieces of cloth, paper, or other material
Synonyms: rags, scraps, shreds, bits, pieces
Usage: His jersey was left in tatters.
