1. KNACK (noun) – कुशलता
Pronunciation: nak
Meaning: an acquired or natural skill
Synonyms: talent, flair, genius, instinct, faculty, ability
Antonym: inability
Usage: He's got a real knack for making money.

2. BURGEON (verb) – तेज़ी से बढ़ना
Pronunciation: ber-jun
Meaning: begin to grow or increase rapidly
Synonyms: expand, swell, explode, boom, mushroom
Antonym: shrink
Usage: My confidence began to burgeon later in life.

3. SEAR (verb) – जलाना, झुलसाना
Pronunciation: si-ur
Meaning: burn or scorch the surface of (something) with a sudden, intense heat
Synonyms: scorch, burn, singe, scald, char
Usage: The water got so hot that it seared our lips.

4. RESCIND (verb) – रद्द कर देना
Pronunciation: ri-sind
Meaning: cancel (a law, order, or agreement)
Synonyms: revoke, repeal, reverse, abrogate, overturn
Antonyms: enforce, enact
Usage: The court has the power to rescind a bankruptcy order under this section.

5. INDEMNITY (noun) – हानि से सुरक्षा, क्षतिपूर्ति
Pronunciation: in-dem-niti
Meaning: security or protection against a loss or other financial burden
Synonyms: insurance, assurance, protection, security, indemnification
Usage: No indemnity will be given for loss of cash.

6. PERFUNCTORY (adjective) – बेपरवाह, अचेत
Pronunciation: pur-funk-t(u)ri
Meaning: (of an action) carried out without real interest, feeling, or effort
Synonyms: cursory, desultory, quick, brief, hasty
Antonyms: careful, thorough
Usage: He is never serious and works in a perfunctory manner.

7. ASCENDANCY (noun) – प्रभुत्व, प्रधानता
Pronunciation: us-en-dunsi
Meaning: occupation of a position of dominant power or influence
Synonyms: dominance, domination, supremacy, superiority, predominance
Antonym: subordination
Usage: We have had ascendancy over the enemy in the battle.

8. APTITUDE (noun) – योग्यता, कौशल
Pronunciation: apti-tyood
Meaning: a natural ability to do something; a natural tendency
Synonyms: talent, gift, flair, bent, skill, knack, facility, finesse
Usage: She showed a natural aptitude for the work.

9. PARAGON (noun) – आदर्श, मिसाल
Pronunciation: para-gon
Meaning: a person or thing viewed as a model of excellence
Synonyms: model, epitome, archetype, ideal, exemplar, nonpareil, paradigm
Usage: He was considered to be a paragon of virtue.

10. SCRAWNY (adjective) – दुबला-पतला
Pronunciation: skro-ni
Meaning: (of a person or animal) unattractively thin and bony
Synonyms: skinny, thin, thin as a rake, skin-and-bones, gaunt, bony, size-zero, angular, gawky
Antonyms: plump, fat
Usage: He had long scrawny fingers.
