1. MANIC (adjective) – उन्मत्त
Pronunciation: man-ik
Meaning: showing wild, apparently deranged, excitement and energy
Synonyms: mad, insane, deranged, demented, maniacal, lunatic
Antonym: sane
Usage: The performers had manic energy and enthusiasm.

2. INDOMITABLE (adjective) – अदम्य
Pronunciation: in-domi-tub(u)l
Meaning: impossible to subdue or defeat
Synonyms: invincible, unconquerable, unbeatable, unassailable, impregnable
Antonyms: submissive, weak
Usage: Alice was a woman of indomitable spirit.

3. TOWERING (adjective) – बहुत ऊंचा, उच्च
Pronunciation: tao-ring
Meaning: extremely tall, especially in comparison with the surroundings; of great importance or influence; of great intensity
Synonyms: high, tall, lofty, elevated, soaring; outstanding, pre-eminent, leading, foremost, finest, chief; extreme, fierce, terrible, intense, overpowering, mighty  
Antonyms: low, short; undistinguished, inferior; minor, half-hearted
Usage:

  • Harry looked up at the towering buildings.
  • He remains a towering figure in modern British politics.
  • He was in towering anger.

4. RIFE (adjective) – फैला हुआ
Pronunciation: ra-if
Meaning: (especially of something undesirable) of common occurrence; full of
Synonyms: widespread, general, common, universal, extensive; overflowing, bursting, alive, swarming
Antonyms: scarce, unknown
Usage: Violent crime is rife in our town.

5. UNBRIDLED (adjective) – निरंकुश, बेलगाम
Pronunciation: un-brai-d(u)ld
Meaning: uncontrolled
Synonyms: unrestrained, unconstrained, uninhibited, unrestricted
Antonyms: restrained, controlled
Usage: I was amazed at their unbridled laugh.

6. GULP (verb) – घूंट
Pronunciation: gulp
Meaning: swallow (drink or food) quickly or in large mouthfuls, often audibly; a large mouthful of liquid hastily drunk
Synonyms: quaff, swig; mouthful, swallow, draught
Antonyms: sip
Usage: He gulped down his coffee.

7. MANIKIN (noun) – छोटा मनुष्य, नाटा आदमी
Pronunciation: mani-kin
Meaning: a very small man
Synonyms: homunculus, Lilliputian, midget, pygmy
Usage: Manikins often appear in children's stories.

8. PERTINENT (adjective) – उचित, मुनासिब
Pronunciation: purti-n(u)nt
Meaning: relevant or applicable to a particular matter
Synonyms: relevant, to the point, apposite, appropriate, suitable, fitting
Antonyms: irrelevant, inappropriate
Usage: He asked me a lot of very pertinent questions.

9. MARTINET (noun) – अनुशासक
Pronunciation: maati-net
Meaning: a person who demands complete obedience; a strict disciplinarian
Synonyms: disciplinarian, slave driver, taskmaster, taskmistress, authoritarian, tyrant
Usage: The woman in charge was a martinet who treated us like children.

10. REPRESS (verb) – भावना को दबाना
Pronunciation: ri-pres
Meaning: to not allow something, especially feelings, to be expressed
Synonyms: restrain, hold back, keep back, bite back, suppress, fight back
Antonyms: release, express
Usage: He could hardly repress his tears.
