SSC CGL 2019 Syllabus
The Staff Selection Commission (SSC) released the notification for the Combined Graduate Level Examination (CGL) 2019 tier-I exam on October 22 at its official website, ssc.nic.in The registration, the link will remain open till November 25, after which no application will be accepted. Staff Selection Commission will hold the Combined Graduate Level Examination, 2019 for filling up of various Group “B” and Group “C” posts in different Ministries/ Departments/ Organizations.
SSC CGL 2019 Syllabus:
Staff Selection Commission of India will be conducting the SSC CGL 2019 Exam in four stages: Tier-1, Tier-2, Tier-3 & Tier-4 exam. While the Tier-I & Tier-II exam will be conducted online, Tier-III will be a pen and paper-based exam and Tier-IV will be a computer skill test. SSC CGL 2019 Tier-III Syllabus:
SSC CGL Tier-III 2019 exam is a descriptive exam to test the written skills of the candidates in English/Hindi. The mode of examination is offline and students are required to write essays, precis, application, letter etc. in this exam. The exam carries 100 marks and the time allotted for the same is 60 minutes.
Note: The time allotted for candidates belonging to PWD category is increased to 80 minutes.
SSC CGL 2019 Tier-IV Syllabus:
DEST (Data Entry Speed Test): For the post of Tax Assistant (Central Excise and Income Tax),DEST Exam through SSC CGL 2019 exam is conducted to check the typing speed of the candidate. The candidates are given an article in English which they have to type on Computer. A candidate is required to type 2000 words in 15 minutes. This exam is qualifying in nature
CPT (Computer Proficiency Test): Word Processing, Spread Sheets and Generation of slides are the three modules that are important for this exam and the commission demands a candidate to be proficient in it for the post of Assistant Section Officer in CSS, MEA & AFHQ, Assistant in Serious Fraud Investigation Office (SFIO) under the Ministry of Corporate Affairs,Assistant (GSI) in the Ministry of Mines, Inspector (Central Excise), Inspector (Preventive Officer) & Inspector (Examiner) in CBIC.This exam is qualifying in nature. Tier-I, Tier-II & Tier-III exam is compulsory for all posts mentioned in the SSC CGL 2019 Notification.
