Let us discuss the important concepts of Quadratic Equation with important tricks and examples in this post now –
Basic form of an equation

aX2+bX +c =0
a = coefficient of X2
b = coefficient of X
c = constant term

There are 4 methods to solve quadratic equations. The four methods of solving a quadratic equation are factoring, using the square roots, completing the square and the quadratic formula. Before using any method to solve quadratic equation using the following short trick to analyze the question and answer it accordingly.

The short trick to solve quadratic equation
Before the commencement of the exam write down this table.

In a given table B represents sign of the coefficient of  X.
C   represents a sign of constant term.
S.R and B.R are smaller and bigger roots respectively.

How to use sign table.
I. x2–x+30=0
II. y2+11y+30= 0

If in a given equation 1.  sign of coefficient of  X is (-) and sign of constant term is (+).Now from table in  row 2 the signs of roots of equation are always positive. i e  (,+6,+5)
Similarly in a given equation .  sign of coefficient of  X is (+) and sign of constant term is (+).Now from table in  row 1 the signs of bigger roots and smaller roots of equation are always negative.
i.e (-5,-6)
So using this table you can answer the question directly. If it doesn’t work you can use any of the four methods give above to solve quadratic equation.
