1. FINERY (noun) – ठाटबाट; आडंबर
Pronunciation:

Meaning: expensive or showy clothes or decoration
Synonyms: regalia, garb, best, Sunday best, splendour
Antonym: rags
Usage: The mayor was dressed in all his finery.
 
2. MINATORY (noun) – धमकानेवाला
Pronunciation:

Meaning: expressing or conveying a threat
Synonyms: menacing, threatening, baleful, intimidating, ominous, admonitory, warning
Usage: Although the message seemed minatory, the student swore that it was joke and not a threat.

Meaning: unable to be upset or excited
Synonyms: self-possessed, composed, collected, calm, cool, and collected, cool-headed, self-controlled, poised, tranquil

4. GRAZE (verb) – खरोंच
Pronunciation:

Meaning: rub against a rough or hard surface and break the surface of the skin of (a part of the body)

Meaning: be of the same opinion
Synonyms: agree, accord
Antonym: disagree
Usage: I strongly concur with her brilliant idea.
 
8. ENSCONCE (verb) – बसाना, छिपाना, बैठना
Pronunciation:
in-skons / en-skons
Meaning: establish or settle (someone) in a comfortable, safe place
Synonyms: settle, install, establish, park, lodge
Usage: He ensconced himself in the armchair.
 
9. FORTIFICATION (noun) – गढ़बन्दी, किलाबन्दी, दुर्गकरण
Pronunciation:

Meaning: a defensive wall or other reinforcement built to strengthen a place against attack; the action/process of providing (a place) with defensive works as protection against attack

Meaning: a complex or unwelcome consequence of an action or event
Synonyms: consequence, result, aftermath, outcome, effect, upshot
Usage: Jason was shocked when he learned the ramification of his cheating was immediate expulsion from the university.
