1. OMINOUS (adjective) –  अमंगल, अशुभ

Meaning: giving the worrying impression that something bad is going to happen
Synonyms: doomy, gloomy, unfavourable, threatening, menacing
Antonyms: promising, auspicious
Usage: The black clouds look ominous for our trip.

Meaning: kill, destroy, or remove a large proportion of

Antonyms: preserve, protect, save, mend
