1. GALVANIZE (verb) – प्रेरित/उत्तेजित करना
Pronunciation: gal-vun-aiz
Meaning: shock or excite (someone) into taking action
Synonyms: jolt, shock, startle, impel
Antonym: demotivate
Usage: We have to galvanize people into action.

2. CATASTROPHIC (adjective) – विपत्तिपूर्ण, प्रलयंकर
Pronunciation: kat-us-trofik
Meaning: involving or causing sudden great damage or suffering; extremely unfortunate or unsuccessful
Synonyms: disastrous, calamitous, cataclysmic, ruinous
Antonyms: fortunate, beneficial
Usage: Damage to farmland was catastrophic.

3. LACONIC (adjective) – संक्षिप्त
Pronunciation: luk-onik
Meaning: (of a person, speech, or style of writing) using very few words
Synonyms: brief, concise, terse, succinct, short, elliptical
Antonyms: verbose, long-winded, loquacious
Usage: His laconic reply suggested a lack of interest in the topic.

4. WRANGLE (noun, verb) – तकरार
Pronunciation: ran-gul
Meaning: a dispute or argument, typically one that is long and complicated
Synonyms: argument, dispute, disagreement, row; argue, quarrel
Antonyms: agreement; agree
Usage: I don't want to get into a wrangle with the committee.

5. EGREGIOUS (adjective) – अत्यंत भयंकर
Pronunciation: igree-jus
Meaning: outstandingly bad; shocking
Synonyms: shocking, appalling, horrific, horrifying, horrible, terrible, awful, dreadful, grievous
Antonym: marvellous
Usage: It was an egregious error for a statesman to show such ignorance.

6. AGONIZE (verb) – तड़पना
Pronunciation: agun-aiz
Meaning: undergo great mental pain through worrying about something
Synonyms: agony, pain, torment, torture, suffering, distress, angst
Antonyms: relax, calm, tranquilize, chill
Usage: We agonized for hours about which wallpaper to buy.

7. ODIOUS (adjective) – अत्यंत अप्रिय
Pronunciation: o-di-us
Meaning:
extremely unpleasant
Synonyms: revolting, repulsive, repellent, repugnant, disgusting, offensive, objectionable
Antonyms: delightful, pleasant, agreeable, charming
Usage: I find his flattery odious.

8. MENDACITY (noun) – झूठ
Pronunciation: men-das-iti
Meaning: untruthfulness
Synonyms: lying, dishonesty, deceit
Antonym: truthfulness
Usage: Politicians are often accused of mendacity.

9. PERSPICACITY (noun) – सूक्ष्मदर्शिता
Pronunciation: per-spi-kasiti
Meaning: the quality of having a ready insight into things; shrewdness
Synonyms: shrewdness, astuteness, discernment, perception, percipience
Usage: The detective’s perspicacity allowed him to easily recognize the criminal in the crowd.

10. IMBIBE (verb) – पी लेना, सोख लेना
Pronunciation: im-baib
Meaning: drink; absorb; understand completely
Synonyms: drink, assimilate
Usage: These plants imbibe moisture through their roots.
