1. NUB (noun) – सारांश, मूलतत्त्व
Pronunciation: nub
Meaning: the central point of a matter
Synonyms: crux, essence, core
Usage: The nub of the problem is our poor export performance.
 
2. OBSTREPEROUS (adjective) कोलाहलमय
Pronunciation: ub-strep(u)rus
Meaning: noisy and difficult to control
Synonyms: unruly, unmanageable, disorderly, undisciplined, uncontrollable
Antonyms: calm, quiet, restrained
Usage: When my husband drinks too much beer, he becomes obstreperous.
 
3. JUNKET (noun, verb) फ़िजूल ख़र्च करके यात्रा या उत्सव करना
Pronunciation: jun-kit
Meaning: an extravagant trip or celebration (particularly enjoyed by government officials at public expense)

Meaning: the state of becoming worse or more serious
Synonyms: worsen, exacerbate, inflame, compound
Antonyms: alleviate, improve, improvement
Usage: The patient experienced an aggravation of symptoms.
 
5. NONENTITY (noun) सामान्य
Pronunciation: non-en-titi
Meaning: a person or thing with no special or interesting qualities; an unimportant person or thing; non-existence
Synonyms: nobody, cipher, non-person, man of straw, nothing, small fry, lightweight, mediocrity
Antonyms: celebrity, heavyweight
Usage:

6. LOB (verb) – फेंकना

Meaning: throw or hit (a ball or missile) in a high arc

Usage: You can lob a firebomb through the window.    
 
7. BESET (verb) नाक में दम करना; घेर लेना

Meaning: trouble (someone or something) persistently; surround and harass
Synonyms: bedevil, assail, beleaguer, afflict, torment; besiege, shut in
Usage:
  • The plan was beset with difficulties from the beginning.
  • I was beset by clouds of flies.
8. ONSLAUGHT (noun) घातक आक्रमण

Meaning: a destructive attack
Synonyms: assault, attack
Usage: Our army tried to withstand the enemy onslaught.
 
9. IRE (noun) क्रोध
Pronunciation: ai-uh
Meaning: anger
Synonyms: rage, fury, wrath
Antonyms: pleasure, calm
Usage: The doctor’s rude behavior triggered the patient’s ire.
 
10. CLOBBER (verb) पीटना
Pronunciation: klobuh
Meaning: hit hard
Synonyms: strike, slap, smack, cuff, punch, beat, thrash
Usage: If you disturb me again, I'll clobber you.
