1. incarnation (noun) – अवतार
Pronunciation:
in-kaa-nei-shun
Meaning: a person who embodies in the flesh a deity, spirit, or quality
Synonyms: embodiment, personification, epitome, manifestation
Usage: Rama was Vishnu's incarnation on earth.

2. pinpoint (noun, adj, verb) – बिंदु, यथार्थ
Pronunciation: pin-point
Meaning: a tiny dot or point; absolutely precise; to the finest degree
Synonyms: point, spot, speck, dot, fleck; precise, strict, rigorous, meticulous, scrupulous; exact, accurate, correct, unerring, inch-perfect; identify, discover, determine, distinguish, find, locate, detect
Usage:

  • Jupiter's moons will look like pinpoints of light. (noun)
  • The needle has to be positioned with pinpoint accuracy. (adjective)
  • The helicopter allowed us to pinpoint the areas hit hardest by the flood. (verb)

3. hidebound (adjective) – अपरिवर्तनवादी
Pronunciation:
ha-id-baund
Meaning: unwilling or unable to change because of tradition or convention
Synonyms: conservative, reactionary, conventional, orthodox, fundamentalist
Antonyms: liberal, broad-minded
Usage: You can never change their ideas as they are far too hidebound.

4. quash (verb) – अस्वीकार, मिटा देना
Pronunciation: kwosh
Meaning: reject as invalid, especially by legal procedure
Synonyms: cancel, reverse, rescind, repeal, revoke, retract
Antonym: validate
Usage: The police were brought in to quash the strike.

5. perverse (adjective) – अनाड़ी, फूहड़

Meaning: showing a deliberate and obstinate desire to behave in a way that is unreasonable or unacceptable; contrary to the accepted or expected standard or practice

Usage:

6. emblematic (adjective) – प्रतीकात्मक

Synonyms: symbolic, representative, demonstrative, suggestive, symptomatic
Antonyms: representational, realistic
Usage: A sword is emblematic of power gained by violence.

7. bouncy (adjective) – जीवंत, आत्म विश्वासी
Pronunciation:
baun-si
Meaning: (of a person) confident and lively
Synonyms: lively, energetic, perky, frisky, jaunty, zestful
Usage: Whenever I meet him; I find him bouncy.

8. recondite (adjective) – अव्यक्त
Pronunciation:
ri-kon-dait / rekun-dait
Meaning: (of a subject or knowledge) little known
Synonyms: obscure, abstruse, arcane, esoteric
Antonyms: straightforward, simple, familiar
Usage: Such teachings are very recondite and need considerable study to understand fully.

9. expedite (verb) – झटपट करना
Pronunciation:
ekspi-dait
Meaning: make (an action or process) happen sooner or be accomplished more quickly
Synonyms: accelerate, hurry, hasten
Antonyms: delay, hinder
Usage: The builders promised to expedite the repairs.

10. intersperse (verb) – बिखेरना
Pronunciation:

Meaning: scatter among or between other things; place here and there
