1. BADGER (verb) – सताना
Pronunciation: baj-uh
Meaning: repeatedly ask (someone) to do something
Synonyms: pester, harass, bother, plague, torment, hound, nag
Usage: You can't badger me into going to the party.

2. MIDGET (noun, adjective) – बौना, छोटा
Pronunciation: mijit
Meaning: a very small person or thing
Synonyms: homunculus, manikin, Lilliputian; dwarf, miniature, baby, diminutive
Antonym: giant
Usage:

  • The skyscraper is a midget by today's standards. (noun)
  • Their second son is midget. (adj)

3. RECUMBENT (adjective)लेटा हुआ
Pronunciation: ri-kum-bent
Meaning: (especially of a person or effigy) lying down
Synonyms: lying, flat, horizontal, sprawled, spreadeagled
Antonyms: erect, standing, upright
Usage: After drinking four beers, my father was recumbent in his favorite chair.

4. DEPORT (verb) निर्वासित करना
Pronunciation: di-po-t
Meaning: expel (a foreigner) from a country, typically on the grounds of illegal status or for having committed a crime
Synonyms: expel, banish, exile, transport, expatriate
Antonym: admit
Usage: The convicts were deported to a deserted island.

5. SOLECISM (noun) – व्याकरण का अशुद्ध प्रयोग; चूक
Pronunciation: solisiz(u)m
Meaning: a grammatical mistake in speech or writing; an instance of incorrect behaviour
Synonyms: error, blunder, howler; gaffe, impropriety
Usage: She commits a lot of solecisms.

6. BOORISH (adjective) – अशिष्ट
Pronunciation: bo-rish
Meaning: rough and bad-mannered
Synonyms: coarse, uncouth, rude, discourteous, impolite
Antonyms: refined, sophisticated
Usage: I found him rather boorish and aggressive.

7. COMATOSE (adjective) – अचैतन्य; अत्यंत सुस्ती
Pronunciation: komuh-to-s
Meaning: relating to or in a state of coma; extremely lethargic or sleepy
Synonyms: unconscious, insensible, senseless, blacked out; inert, torpid, inactive, lethargic, sluggish, lifeless, listless
Usage: We just sat comatose in front of the TV.

8. SAGA (noun) – कथा
Pronunciation: saag-uh
Meaning: a long story of heroic achievement; a long, involved story, account, or series of incidents
Synonyms: epic, chronicle, legend, folk tale
Usage: She has written a huge and compelling family saga.

9. NICETY (noun) – अति सूक्ष्मता
Pronunciation: nais-ti
Meaning: a fine or subtle detail or distinction
Synonyms: subtlety, nuance
Usage: Everything was arranged to a nicety.

10. PERNICKETY (adjective) – अवगुण ढूंढ़नेवाला
Pronunciation: puh-ni-kiti
Meaning: placing too much emphasis on trivial or minor details
Synonyms: fussy, difficult, finicky, over-fastidious
Antonyms: easy-going, laid-back
Usage: He is extremely pernickety about using words correctly.
