1. INDIGNATION (noun) – क्रोध, रोष  
Pronunciation: in•duhg•nei•shn
Meaning:  anger about a situation that you think is wrong or not fair
Synonyms: resentment, exasperation, acrimony, animosity, bile, belligerence, ire, pugnacity, fury 
Antonyms: delight, pleasure
Usage: He was full of indignation after the attack.

2. COMPLACENCY (noun) – आत्मसंतोष, शालीनता
Pronunciation: kuhm•plei•suhn•see
Meaning: a feeling of pleasure or security, often while unaware of some potential danger
Synonyms: pride, conceit, ego, pomposity, pride, self-admiration, smugness, swelled head, vanity, vainness
Antonyms: humbleness, humility, modesty, dissatisfaction
Usage: His early success as a writer led to complacency and arrogance.

3. BESET (verb) –  सताना, नाक में दम करना
Pronunciation: buh•set
Meaning:  (of a problem or difficulty) trouble (someone or something) persistently; be covered or studded with
Synonyms: assail, attack, annoy, beleaguer, torment, harry, rasp, pester, trouble
Antonyms: aid, assist, solace, succor
Usage: The business has been beset with financial problems.

4. ENVISAGE (verb) –  विचार करना, गौर करना, संभावना का ध्यान करना
Pronunciation: uhn•vi•zuhj
Meaning: to imagine or expect something in the future, especially something good
Synonyms: forecast, anticipate, predict, conceive, dream, envision, fancy, fantasize, fantasy, feature, ideate, imagine, vision, visualize
Antonym: ignore
Usage: I can envisage difficulties if we continue with this policy.

5. METICULOUS (adjective) – अतिसावधान, सतर्क
Pronunciation: muh•ti•kyoo•luhs
Meaning: showing great attention to detail; very careful and precise
Synonyms: careful, conscientious, fussy, loving, painstaking, scrupulous, fastidious, pedantic
Antonyms: careless, sloppy, slapdash
Usage: He was so meticulous about everything.

6. IMPUNITY (noun) – छुटकारा, दण्ड से मुक्ति
Pronunciation: uhm•pyoo•nuh•tee
Meaning: freedom from punishment, harm, or loss
Synonyms: immunity, indemnity, amnesty, exoneration, pardon, reprieve
Antonyms: liability, vulnerability 
Usage: When you are a jury member, you have to ensure that a person who needs to be punished does not receive impunity.

7. ADROIT (adjective) – चतुर, चालाक, निपुण
Pronunciation: uh•droyt
Meaning: clever or skilful
Synonyms: artful, deft, delicate, dexterous, expert, masterful, masterly, skillful, virtuoso, adept, astute
Antonyms: clumsy, incompetent
Usage: He is adroit at making excuses.

8. VAPID (adjective) –  फीका, बेजान
Pronunciation: va•puhd
Meaning: offering nothing that is stimulating or challenging
Synonyms: tedious, dull, uninteresting, innocuous, pallid, stale, tepid
Antonyms: amazing, invigorating, bewitching, enchanting
Usage: The vapid conversation bored her.

9. CONNIVE (verb) – किसी के साथ मिलकर अवैध कार्य करना, गुप्त रूप से सहयोग देना
Pronunciation: kuh•naiv
Meaning: secretly allow (something immoral, illegal, or harmful) to occur
Synonyms: overlook, condone, disregard, let go, collude, conspire
Antonyms: condemn, punish
Usage: Because some of the gang members were tired of their leader, they met in secret to connive a plot to kill him.

10. INIQUITOUS (adjective) – अधर्म, अन्याय
Pronunciation: uh•ni•kwuh•tuhs
Meaning: very wrong and unfair
Synonyms: nefarious, rotten, sinful, unethical, unlawful, unrighteous, unsavory, vicious, vile, villainous, wicked
Antonyms: decent, ethical, good, honest, honorable, just, moral, right, righteous, sublime, upright, virtuous
Usage: By her efforts, many of their iniquitous plots against women were reduced.
