1. SERENDIPITOUS (adjective) –  आकस्मिक लाभ
Pronunciation: seh•ruhn•di•puh•tuhs
Meaning: occurring or discovered by chance in a happy or beneficial way 
Synonyms: lucky, fortuitous, unexpected, unanticipated, unforeseen, coincidental
Antonyms: unlucky, bad, inopportune, unpropitious
Usage: The timing of the show is serendipitous.

2. STEALTH (noun) – गोपनीयता, रेडार से बच निकलने वाला, चुपके से जानेवाला
Pronunciation: stelth
Meaning: movement that is quiet and careful in order not to be seen or heard, or secret action; (chiefly of aircraft) designed in accordance with technology which makes detection by radar or sonar difficult
Synonyms: covertness, furtiveness, slyness, clandestineness, private, concealment 
Antonyms: openness, straightforward, unconcealed, undisguised, unclassified, unrestricted
Usage: Cats rely on stealth to catch their prey.

3. FLIPPANCY (noun) – ओछापन, छिछोरापन, हल्का स्वभाव
Pronunciation: fli•puhn•see
Meaning:  the quality of not being serious about a serious subject, in an attempt to be funny or to appear clever
Synonyms: frivolousness, levity, superficiality, shallowness, glibness, thoughtlessness, carefreeness, irresponsibility, insouciance, facetiousness
Antonyms: seriousness, respect
Usage: This is no time for flippancy.
 
4. APPALLED (adjective) –  भयभीत, चकित
Pronunciation: uh•pawld
Meaning: having strong feelings of shock or disapproval
Synonyms: alarm, amaze, astound, consternate, disconcert, dishearten, dismay, faze, frighten
Antonyms: assured, cheered, comforted, consoled, solaced, soothed, reassured
Usage: I am appalled at his mistakes.
 
5. OBLITERATE (verb) – काटना, मिटाना
Pronunciation: uh•bli•tuh•reit
Meaning: to remove, destroy, or hide completely
Synonyms: abolish, annihilate, black out, blot out, cancel, clean (up), efface, eradicate, erase, expunge, exterminate, extirpate, liquidate
Antonyms:  conserve, preserve, renew, renovate
Usage: She tried to obliterate all memories of her father.

6. FRACTIOUS (adjective) – चिड़चिड़ा, झगड़ालु
Pronunciation: frak•shuhs
Meaning: (typically of children) irritable and quarrelsome; (of a group or organization) difficult to control
Synonyms: grumpy, grouchy, argumentative, contentious, controversial, disputatious, quarrelsome, scrappy
Antonyms: affable, amiable, amicable, benevolent, acquiescent, agreeable, amenable, complaisant, compliant, complying, conciliatory, cooperative
Usage: Rahul was in a fractious mood.
 
7. BEFITTING (adjective) – उपयुक्त, उचित; मुंहतोड़
Pronunciation: buh•fi•tuhng
Meaning: appropriate to the occasion
Synonyms: correct, decent, decorous, genteel, nice, polite, proper, respectable
Antonyms: improper, inapplicable, inapt, incongruous, indecent, infelicitous, malapropos
Usage: Adam’s behavior is not befitting that of a future king.
 
8. ACCENTUATE (verb) –  जोर देना
Pronunciation: uhk•sen•choo•eit
Meaning: make more noticeable or prominent
Synonyms: highlight, underground, stress, feature, emphasize 
Antonyms: mask, subdue, dwindle
Usage: The bright colored eyeliner will accentuate her beautiful eyes.

9. ACERBIC (adjective) – कड़वा, तीखा
Pronunciation: uh•suh•buhk
Meaning: used to describe something that is spoken or written in a way that is direct, clever, and cruel; tasting sour or bitter
Synonyms: sharp, sarcastic, sardonic, satirical, scathing, trenchant, bitter, acrimonious
Antonyms: mild, gentle, kind, sweet
Usage: He ignored his wife’s acerbic statements about his career.

10. FATUOUS (adjective) –  बुद्धिहीन, मूर्ख
Pronunciation: fa•choo•uhs
Meaning: silly and pointless, lacking intelligence; stupid
Synonyms: puerile, bird-brained, bonehead, cretinous, puerile, absurd, moronic
Antonyms: brainy, bright, nimble, quick-witted
Usage: Alok's fatuous spending put him in debt.
