2. Go through the syllabus:

Many aspirants start their preparation from anywhere without knowing the syllabus. Their preparation may go in wrong direction. They just start their preparation blindly. It is very important to know the exact syllabus of the SBI clerk to keep your preparation on right track.

3.Check out the previous year papers:

Aspirants mostly underestimate this step but they don’t realize that it would help them to understand the changes which occurred in the examination in recent years. While going through the previous 10 years examination papers, just note down which chapters carry more marks. Put more efforts on those important chapters.

4. Learn every detail of each chapter:

Whenever you pick a topic to learn, try to cover it from all directions. Aspirants mostly run behind the shortcuts and don’t develop conceptual knowledge. But they have to understand that they can only clear the examination when they can solve every level of question. This would only happen if the basic foundation is strong. So, focus on minute detail of every chapter.

5. Practice makes progress:

Try to practice from various sources to make your preparation diverse. While practicing the questions, put the time limit. This would create a pressure on you to push your limits. Slowly you will realize that you are developing a good command over the topics.

6.Revision is a must:

Make a weekly revision plan of all the topics which you have studied in a week. Make sure that your plan is realistic. Give yourself enough time to revise properly as well as breaks for relaxation. The revision plan should be flexible as certain things take longer time than expected. Revise those topics that make you anxious. Revising the topics will boost confidence.

7.Mock test:

You can check the level of your preparation by taking mock test. It would be beneficial if you start with sectional mock test and then switch over to full mock tests which include all the sections. After taking mock test, analyze your performance and work on your weak areas.

8. Read newspaper daily:

Make the newspaper reading a compulsory activity of your daily routine. This can help you in Reading Comprehension, Cloze test, Error detection and Para jumbles. It will also keep you abreast of latest news. Note down the new words and try to understand how they are used in a sentence.
Start your preparation with this strategy, gradually you will observe improvement in yourself. This will enhance the effective learning. You just need to put your efforts consistently because power comes with practice, perseverance and patience.

So, buckle up for upcoming journey of success.

Good Luck for the exam!!!
