IBPS Clerk 2019: Mains Study Plan

IBPS Clerk Prelims 2019 has been concluded  and it’s time to kick-start preparation for IBPS Clerk Mains which is scheduled to be conducted on 19 January, 2020. As we all know, the IBPS clerk prelims was of a easy to moderate difficulty level. Some new question types were asked in the English language section however, numerical ability and reasoning were on expected lines. The general trend observed in all IBPS exams this year was an increase in the difficulty level as well as introduction of some new question types.

Taking this into account, it would only be logical to expect the IBPS Clerk Mains exam 2019 to be on a higher side of the difficulty spectrum. Also, one should use this time to build up their basics so as to be able to deal with any new types of questions asked.

In this article, we have brought a study plan for the IBPS Clerk Mains Exam 2019. Let us first take a look at the exam pattern.

General Tips

Make a study plan in accordance with the sections in the IBPS Clerk Mains Exam. Divide your day in 5-6 slots and fit 4 slots with the 4 sections of the exam. In another slot, you can put mock test and revision and analysis. We are giving you a dummy for making a time table:

Quant
1-2 Hours
Reasoning
1-2 Hours
English
1 Hour
GA (newspaper, monthly current affairs magazine)
3 Hour
Mock Test
At alternate days
Analysis
on the same day of the mock
Revision
Everyday

You can change the number of hours and order of preference as per your comfort but make sure to indulge everything in your plan that is mentioned in the table. Also, revise everything you read in the end of the day. Attempt mock at every alternate day and do not miss to analyse your performance in the mock. The next day you can again go through the mistakes you have attempted in the mock.
