1. CONCEITED (adjective) अभिमानी
Pronunciation: kuhn·see·tuhd
Meaning: excessively proud of oneself; vain
Synonyms: vain, narcissistic, self-centered, egotistical, proud, arrogant, boastful
Antonyms: modest, self-effacing
Usage: The conceited man would not stop talking about himself.
 
2. CASTIGATE (verb) फटकारना, सज़ा देना
Pronunciation: ka·stuh·geit
Meaning: reprimand someone severely        
Synonyms: reprimand, scold, punish, rebuke, admonish, chastise, chide
Antonyms: praise, commend
Usage: If you want better results, you should praise your children and not castigate them.
 
3. NEGATE (verb) खंडन करना

Meaning: make ineffective; nullify

Antonyms: confirm, validate

4. OMIT (verb) छोड़ देना

Meaning: optimistic or positive, especially in an apparently bad or difficult situation

Meaning: unable to be captured or broken into
Synonyms: invulnerable, impenetrable, inviolable, secure, strong, stout, safe
Antonyms: vulnerable, conquerable
Usage: During the battle, the soldiers were unable to breach the impregnable castle walls.
 
8. SPENDTHRIFT (noun) अपव्ययी
Pronunciation: spend·thrift
Meaning: a person who spends money in an extravagant, irresponsible way
Synonyms: profligate, prodigal, waster, big spender, wastrel, improvident,extravagant
Antonyms: miser, frugal
Usage: Because the lottery winner was a spendthrift, he spent his winnings in less than a year.
                                         
9. CONFISCATE (verb) ज़ब्त करना
Pronunciation: kon·fuh·skeit
Meaning: take or seize someone's property with authority
Synonyms: impound, seize, commandeer, requisition, expropriate
Antonyms: return, release
Usage: The police have the right to confiscate any forbidden objects they find.
 
10. SAGACIOUS (adjective) मेधावी

Meaning: having or showing keen mental discernment and good judgement; wise or shrewd
Synonyms: wise, clever, intelligent, knowledgeable, sensible, sage, discerning
Antonym: stupid, foolish
Usage: The sagacious inventor went from rags to riches with one great idea.
