Meaning: state too strongly
Synonyms: exaggerate, overdo, overemphasize, overplay, dramatize
Antonym: understate
Usage: Don't overstate your case.

2. IDEOLOGY (noun) – विचारधारा
Pronunciation: ai-di-oluji
Meaning: a system of ideas and ideals, especially one which forms the basis of economic or political theory and policy
Synonyms: beliefs, ideas, ideals, principles, doctrine
Usage: The party had a Marxist ideology.

3. HIDEOUS (adjective) – भयंकर, घिनौना
Pronunciation:
hidi-us
Meaning: extremely ugly; extremely unpleasant
Synonyms: ugly, unsightly, repulsive, repellent, gruesome; horrific, terrible, appalling, awful, dreadful
Antonyms: pleasant, beautiful
Usage: A hideous monster attacked the helpless villagers.

4. PUTATIVE (adjective) – विख्यात
Pronunciation
: pyoo-tutiv
Meaning: generally considered or reputed to be
Synonyms: supposed, assumed, presumed, acknowledged, accepted
Usage: Hess is the ballet's putative lead dancer.

5. LUCRATIVE (adjective) – लाभप्रद, धनदायक
Pronunciation:
lyoo-krutiv
Meaning: producing a great deal of profit
Synonyms: profitable, gainful, remunerative, moneymaking, paying
Antonyms: unprofitable
Usage: Had the plan worked, it would have proved highly lucrative.

6. ARISTOCRAT (noun) – रईस, कुलीन
Pronunciation: aris-tuk-rat / ur-is-tuk-rat
Meaning: a member of the highest class in certain societies
Synonyms: nobleman, peer
Antonym: the masses, commoner
Usage: Her people belonged to the old aristocracy of New York.

7. PROCRASTINATE (verb) – टालना
Pronunciation:
pro-kras-ti-neit
Meaning: delay or postpone action
Synonyms: delay, stall
Usage: The uncertain car buyer will procrastinate until he is sure about the type of car he wants.

8. HYPOCRISY (noun) – पाखंड, ढोंग
Pronunciation:
hip-okrisi
Meaning: a situation in which someone pretends to believe something that he/she does not really believe; pretend to have qualities, beliefs, or feelings that they do not really have
Synonyms: sanctimony, pietism, insincerity, pretence, deceit, deception
Antonyms: honesty, sincerity
Usage: When you agree to serve a cause and then back out, I would call that hypocrisy.

9. BRISK (adjective) – तेज
Pronunciation: brisk
Meaning: active and energetic; showing a wish to deal with things quickly
Synonyms: quick, rapid, fast, swift, speedy; no-nonsense, decisive, businesslike
Antonyms: sluggish, slow, quiet
Usage: Taking a brisk walk can often induce a feeling of well-being.

10. BRUSQUE (adjective) – अशिष्ट, बेअदब
Pronunciation:
broosk / brusk
Meaning: abrupt or casually calm and relaxed in speech or manner
Synonyms: curt, abrupt, blunt, short, sharp, terse
Antonyms: polite, verbose
Usage: His secretary was rather brusque with me.
