1. DOWNTURN (noun, verb) – गिरावट; गिरा हुआ
Pronunciation: dawn•tuhn
Meaning: a decline in economic, business, or other activity; turn (something) downwards
Synonyms: downswing, downspin, worsening
Antonyms: upturn, upswing
Usage
  • There was a downturn in interest rates this week.(noun) 
  • Note the downturned wingtips and large ventral fin.(verb)
2. ADIEU (noun) – अलविदा
Pronunciation: uh•dyoo
Meaning: a goodbye
Synonyms: goodbye, farewell, valediction, vale, bye, cheerio
Antonyms: greeting, welcome
Usage: The young man silently bade adieu to his hometown.
 
3. DEFICIT (noun) – घाटा; कमी
Pronunciation: deh•fuh•suht
Meaning: the amount by which something, especially a sum of money, is too small
Synonyms: shortfall, deficiency, shortage, undersupply, slippage, loss
Antonyms: surplus, profit
Usage: The trade balance has been in deficit for the past five years.

Meaning: move suddenly and powerfully forward or upward

Usage

Meaning: intensely painful
Synonyms: agonizing, severe, intense, extreme, violent, racking, violent, piercing
Antonym: painless, pleasant
Usage: He has excruciating backache.
 
7. SAUNTER (verb, noun) – टहलना

Meaning: walk in a slow, relaxed manner; a leisurely stroll
Synonyms: stroll, amble, wander, meander, walk, promenade, ramble 
Antonyms: hasten, drive
Usage

8. INDEMNITY (noun) – हानि से सुरक्षा
Pronunciation: in•dem•nuh•tee
Meaning: security or protection against a loss or other financial burden
Synonyms: insurance, assurance, protection, security, surety, guarantee, warranty
Antonyms: insecurity, fear
Usage: The indemnity only covers market value claims as at the date of exchange.
 
9. RATIFY (verb) – पुष्टि करना  
Pronunciation: ra•tuh•fai
Meaning: sign or give formal consent to a treaty, contract, or agreement, making it officially valid
Synonyms: confirm, approve, sanction, accept, consent to, affirm, validate
Antonyms: reject, revoke
Usage: Today the governor will ratify the bill by signing it during a press conference.
 
10. PROFUSION (noun) – प्रचुरता
Pronunciation: pruh•fyoo•zhn
Meaning: an abundance or large quantity of something
Synonyms: abundance, lot, mass, plenitude, cornucopia, riot, plethora, superfluity
Antonyms: insufficiency, lack
Usage: There is a profusion of flowers in the garden in summer.
