SSC Steno Grade C & D Recruitment 2019 Notification Out

Dear Aspirants,

The Staff Selection Commission will hold an Open Competitive Computer Based Examination for recruitment of Stenographer Grade „C‟ (Group „B‟, Non- Gazetted) and Stenographer Grade „D‟ (Group „C‟) for various Ministries/ Departments/ Organizations in the Government of India. Only those candidates who have required skills in stenography are eligible to apply. Application is going to be start from 20.09.2019 and will close on 18.10.2019

SSC Stenographer 2019 Exam Dates

SSC Stenographer 2019 Eligibility:   

(1) SSC Stenographer Age :

 For Grade C :

• Minimum: 18 years           
• Maximum: 30 years

 For Grade D :

• Minimum: 18 years           
• Maximum: 27 years

(2) SSC Stenographer Essential Academic Qualifications:

• 12th Standard or equivalent examination from a recognized Board or University.

SSC Stenographer 2019 Application Fees:

• Woman & SC/ST/PWD Candidates - Nil        
• For all others Students - Rs. 100/

SSC Stenographer 2019 Scheme of Examination:

Selection Procedure:

• Phase I.   :  Computer Based Test
• Phase II.  :  Skill Test In Stenographer

SSC Stenographer 2019 Resolution of Tie Cases:

In case where more than one candidate secures the equal aggregate marks in the Computer Based Examination, tie will be resolved by applying the following methods one after another:

• Marks in Part-I (i.e. General Intelligence & Reasoning)
• Marks in Part-II (i.e. General Awareness)
• Date of birth, with older candidate placed higher.
• Alphabetical order in which names of the candidates appear.
