The 2023 Wimbledon Championships was a Grand Slam tennis tournament that took place at the All England Lawn Tennis and Croquet Club in Wimbledon, London, United Kingdom. Novak Djokovic and Elena Rybakina started the tournament as the reigning singles champions.

The 2023 Championships is the 136th edition, the 129th staging of the Ladies’ Singles Championship event, the 55th in the Open Era and the third Grand Slam tournament of the year. The tournament is to be run by the International Tennis Federation (ITF) and to be included in the 2023 ATP Tour and the 2023 WTA Tour calendars under the Grand Slam category, as well as the 2023 ITF tours for junior and wheelchair competitions respectively.

Men's singles:-

Carlos Alcaraz defeated the four-time defending champion Novak Djokovic in the final, 1–6, 7–6(8–6), 6–1, 3–6, 6–4 to win the gentlemen's singles tennis title at the 2023 Wimbledon Championships. It was his first Wimbledon title and second major singles title overall.

Alcaraz, Djokovic, and Daniil Medvedev were in contention for the men's singles No. 1 ranking. Alcaraz retained the No. 1 ranking with his victory and also became the first player to qualify for the year-end championships.

Women's singles:-

Marketa Vondrousova defeated Ons Jabeur in the final, 6–4, 6–4 to win the ladies' singles tennis title at the 2023 Wimbledon Championships. Vondroušová became the first unseeded player in history to win the Wimbledon title, the first to contest the final since Billie Jean King did so in 1963, and at world No. 42, was the second-lowest ranked finalist since the WTA rankings were established in 1975.By winning the title, Vondroušová made her debut in the top ten of the WTA rankings.
