Meaning: with reference to something unpleasant or unwelcome; intensely.
Synonyms: extremely, severely, sharply, harshly, keenly, piercingly
Antonyms: slightly, chronically, blissfully, gladly, happily
Usage: The whole situation was acutely embarrassing.
