1. FOIL (verb) – विफल करना
Pronunciation: fo-il
Meaning: prevent (something considered wrong or undesirable) from succeeding

Meaning: (of an environment) harsh and difficult to live in; (of a person) unfriendly and unwelcoming towards people

Usage:

6. RAM (verb) – भोंकना; टकराना
Pronunciation: ram
Meaning: roughly force (something) into place; crash violently against something
Synonyms: force, thrust, plunge, stab; hit, strike
Usage:
- He rammed his stick into the ground.
- The stolen car rammed into the front of the house.
7. WELTER (noun) – हडबडी, झमेला
Pronunciation: wel-tuh
Meaning: a large number of items in no order; a state of general disorder
Synonyms: jumble, clutter, mess, hotchpotch, mishmash
Usage: The classroom was in a welter when the teacher did not show up for class.
8. RABID (adjective) – उन्मत्त
Pronunciation: rab-id / reib-id
Meaning: having or proceeding from an extreme or fanatical support of or belief in something

Usage: The show has small but rabid fan base.
9. COWER (verb) – दुबक के बैठना
