1.PRECEPT (noun) – नियम
Pronunciation: pree·sept
Meaning: a rule that sets the pattern for one’s behavior
Synonyms: principle, rule, tenet, doctrine, law, mandate, commandment
Antonyms: ambiguity, unbelief, disorganization
Usage: The precept is to refrain from stealing, being tranquil and detached.
 
2.CAJOLE (verb) फुसलाना
Pronunciation: kuh·jowl
Meaning: persuade someone to do something by sustained coaxing or flattery
Synonyms: persuade, wheedle, coax, lure, beguile, blarney, flatter
Antonyms: bully, dissuade
Usage: The candidate managed to cajole many voters into choosing his name on the ballot.

Meaning: obsession with the exercise of power
Synonyms: grandiosity, egotism, arrogance, conceit, pride
Antonyms: modesty, humility, selflessness
Usage: The singer’s megalomania has turned her into an arrogant woman who is disliked by everyone who truly knows her.
 
6.COMPACT (adjective)  सघन
Pronunciation: kuhm·pakt
Meaning: closely and neatly packed together
Synonyms: dense, thick, tight, firm, solid
Antonyms: loose, uncondensed, sparse
Usage: The compact design of the machine allows it to be stored easily.
 
7.MANIFOLD (adjective)अनेक, विविध
Pronunciation: ma·nuh·fowld
Meaning: many and various
Synonyms: many, numerous, various, multiple, diversified, varied
Antonyms: few, homogeneous, same
Usage: He has manifold talents.
 
8.INDOLENCE (noun) – आलस
Pronunciation: in·duh·luhns
Meaning: avoidance of activity or exertion
Synonyms: laziness, idleness, procrastination, sloth, inactivity, inaction
Antonyms: diligence
Usage: My failure is probably due to my own indolence.
 
9.DEXTERITY (noun) निपुणता
Pronunciation: dek·steh·ruh·tee
Meaning: the ability to perform a task both quickly and skillfully
Synonyms: capability, proficiency, agility, adroitness, nimbleness, ability, skill
Antonyms: clumsiness, stupidity, insensitivity
Usage: The student’s vocal dexterity allows her to sing through many different ranges.
 
10.ENDORSEMENT (noun)  समर्थन
Pronunciation: uhn·daw·smuhnt 
Meaning: formal and explicit approval or support
Synonyms: support, backing, approval, agreement, acceptance, recommendation, advocacy
Antonyms: opposition, disapproval, disfavor
Usage: His presidential campaign won endorsement from several celebrities.
