1. RECUPERATE (verb, noun) – स्वस्थ हो जाना
Pronunciation: ruh•koo•puh•reit
Meaning: recover from illness or exertion
Synonyms: recover, convalesce, improve, revive, pull through          
Antonyms: devolve, drop, degenerate, deteriorate
Usage: The patient did not recuperate as rapidly as the doctor had expected.
 
2. INTRIGUING (adjective) – दिलचस्प        
Pronunciation: uhn•tree•guhng
Meaning: arousing one's curiosity or interest; fascinating.
Synonyms: interesting, alluring, appealing, captivating, compelling, fascinating, exciting
Antonyms: incurious, unconcerned
Usage: What's the most intriguing thing about Jim?
 
3. JEOPARDY (noun) – ख़तरा
Pronunciation: jeh•puh•dee
Meaning: danger of loss, harm, or failure 
Synonyms: danger, peril, at risk, endangerment, insecurity, precariousness, uncertainty, instability 
Antonyms: safety, security
Usage: Thousands of jobs are in jeopardy.

4. PECULIAR (adjective) – अजीब, अनोखा
Pronunciation: puh•kyoo•lee•uh
Meaning: different to what is normal or expected; strange  
Synonyms: strange, unusual, odd, bizarre, weird, uncanny, unexpected, abnormal, atypical, different  
Antonyms: normal, ordinary
Usage: They behaved in a very peculiar way.
 
5. COURTESY (noun) – शिष्टाचार, विनम्रता
Pronunciation: kuh•tuh•see
Meaning: the showing of politeness in one's attitude and behaviour towards others.
Synonyms: politeness, civility, respect, chivalry, gentility      
Antonyms: discourtesy, rudeness
Usage: He did not have the common courtesy to ask permission.
 
 
6. EMBELLISH (verb) – संवारना, सजाना
Pronunciation: uhm•beh•luhsh
Meaning: make (something) more attractive by the addition of decorative details or features
Synonyms:  decorate, adorn, furnish, beautify, enhance, enrich, grace, bedeck, festoon                 
Antonyms: simplify, deface, deform
Usage: We embellish our room with new rugs, lamps, and pictures. 
 
7. VICINITY (noun) – आस-पास
Pronunciation: vuh•si•nuh•tee
Meaning: portend the area near or surrounding a particular place   
Synonyms: neighbourhood, locality, locale, environs, surroundings, locus, vicinage    
Antonyms: distance, remoteness
Usage: There is no hospital in the immediate vicinity.

8. EMANATION (noun) – उत्पत्ति, उद्गम
Pronunciation: eh•muh•nei•shn
Meaning: something which originates or issues from a source.
Synonyms: product, consequence, result, fruit, emission, secretion, effluent, efflux 
Antonyms: flux, income, inflow
Usage: Perfume is an emanation from the flower.
 
9. RESILIENT (adjective) – लचीला
Pronunciation: ruh•zi•lee•uhnt
Meaning: able to recoil or spring back into shape after bending, stretching, or being compressed
Synonyms: adaptable, flexible, elastic, springy, rubbery, durable       
Antonyms: inflexible, rigid, fragile
Usage: Rubber is more resilient than wood.

10. PARTAKE (verb) – हिस्सा लेना, भाग लेना
Pronunciation: paa•teik
Meaning: join in an activity
Synonyms: participate, share, contribute, take part in, engage in, enter into, join in    
Antonyms: forfeit, forego
Usage: They preferred not to partake in the social life of the town.
