1. AUGMENT (VERB):बढ़ती करना
Pronunciation: augh-ment
Meaning: to increase the amount, value, size, etc. of something.
Synonyms: add to, supplement, increase
Antonyms: decrease, reduce, lessen
Sentence: He augmented his summer income by painting houses.

2. AMIABLE (ADJECTIVE):मित्रतापूर्ण
Pronunciation: ay·mee·uh·bl
Meaning: friendly and pleasant.
Synonyms: affable, amicable, warm
Antonyms: unfriendly, unpleasant, rude
Sentence: The amiable young man greeted me enthusiastically.
 
3. RECKLESS (ADJECTIVE) :लापरवाह  
Pronunciation: rek·luhs
Meaning: not thinking about possible bad or dangerous results that could come from your actions.
Synonyms: Rash , Heedless, careless
Antonyms : Cautious , Careful, responsible
Sentence:  He showed a reckless disregard for the safety of others.
 
4. SPREE (NOUN): आनंद का उत्सव
Pronunciation: spree
Meaning: A short period of doing a particular, usually enjoyable, activity much more than is usual.
Synonyms: Binge , Orgy, splurge
Antonyms:  temperance, restraint
Sentence:  I went on a shopping/spending spree on Saturday.
 
5. FLIMSY (ADJECTIVE): कमजोर

Meaning:  comparatively light and insubstantial; easily damaged.
Synonyms: fragile, insubstantial, feeble
Antonyms: sturdy, substantial, strong

Meaning:  feeling or showing sorrow and regret for having done wrong; repentant.
Synonyms: repentant, remorseful, ashamed
Antonyms: impenitent, unrepentant, unapologetic
Sentence:  “I’m sorry, ” she said with  penitent smile.
 
7. APARTHEID (NOUN):  रंगभेद 
Pronunciation: uh·paat·ide
Meaning:  the former official government policy in South Africa of separating people of different races and making them live apart.
Synonyms: segregation, discrimination, racism,
Antonyms: integration, union, impartial
Sentence:  Nelson Mandela helped to end Apartheid, which was racial discrimination in South Africa.
 
8. PERSPICACIOUS (ADJECTIVE):कुशाग्र बुद्धि 
Pronunciation: puh·spuh·kay·shuhs
Meaning:  having a ready insight into and understanding of things.
Synonyms: discerning, shrewd, perceptive
Antonyms: foolish, idiotic, moronic
Sentence: He was perspicacious enough to realize that things were soon going to change.
 
9. BLANDSMITH (NOUN) : चिकनी चुपड़ी बातें
Pronunciation: blan.duhsh.muhnt
Meaning: a flattering or pleasing statement or action used as a means of gently persuading someone to do something.
Synonyms: flattery, coaxing, cajolery
Antonyms: disparagement, put-down
Sentence: He remained impervious to all Nell's sulks and blandishments.
 
10. NEBULOUS (ADJECTIVE) : अस्पष्ट
Pronunciation: neh.byoo.luhs
Meaning: (used about a shape, idea, etc.) not clear or exact; without any definite edges.
Synonyms: cryptic, dark, murky
Antonyms: clear, plain, obvious
Sentence: Smudges like this are called nebulae, because they look nebulous - like hazy clouds.
