Meaning: displaying good sense and judgment

Usage: He was canny enough to see that they were trying to trap him.
 
2. LURID (adjective) – बहुत चमकदार, भड़कीला

Meaning: unpleasantly bright in color, especially so as to create a harsh or unnatural effect

Meaning: an expert judge in matters of taste
