Antonyms: legitimate, lawful
Usage: The election was dismissed as illegitimate by the opposition.
 
2. FORBID (verb) मना करना

Meaning: to prohibit or ban
Synonyms: prohibit, ban, outlaw, veto, proscribe, disallow, preclude
Antonyms: permit, allow, sanction

Meaning: having the power to produce a desired effect
Synonyms: effective, successful, effectual, productive, constructive, fruitful, powerful
Antonyms: inefficacious, ineffective, unproductive
