1.HERESY (noun) – मतान्तर
Pronunciation: heh·ruh·see
Meaning: deviation from a dominant theory, opinion, or practice
Synonyms: blasphemy, heterodoxy, agnosticism, apostasy, defection, disbelief, dissent
Antonyms: orthodoxy, harmony, agreement
Usage: It might be considered heresy to suggest such a notion.
 
2.ERADICATE (verb) जड़ से उखाड़ना

Meaning: to get rid of or eliminate something

Meaning: something a little different from others of the same type
Synonyms: different, alternative, modified, variation, derived, differing, divergent
Antonyms: standard, identical, similar
Usage: A variant form of the virus made traditional methods of treatment ineffective.
 
5.FULCRUM (noun) आधार
Pronunciation: ful·kruhm
Meaning: the thing or individual upon which everything depends
Synonyms: axle, center, heart, shaft, spindle, swivel, pivot
Antonym: exterior
Usage: The fulcrum of the new project is the concrete foundation which must support the entire building.    
 
6.CONVEY (verb) – व्यक्त करना

Meaning: to deliver or make understood
Synonyms: communicate, express, tell, transmit, disclose, impart
Antonyms: receive, suppress, withhold

Meaning: likely to be respected and obeyed
Synonyms: domineering, commanding, decisive, dominating, imposing, assertive, dictatorial
Antonym: diffident, indecisive
Usage: The principal has such an authoritative presence that even rebellious students behave around him.       
 
8.GAUGE (verb) मापना
Pronunciation: geij
Meaning: to measure a specific thing
Synonyms: measure, ascertain, calculate, calibrate, determine, judge, appraise
Antonyms: guess, estimate, predict
Usage: The poll is used to gauge the public’s opinion on the president.
 
9.MOMENTUM (noun) – आवेग
Pronunciation: muh·men·tm
Meaning: the force or strength of a moving object
Synonyms: impetus, push, energy, power, strength, drive, force
Antonyms: lethargy, weakness
Usage: As the rock rolled down, it gathered momentum.  
 
10.LACONIC (adjective) – मितभाषी
Pronunciation: luh·ko·nuhk
Meaning: using very few words
Synonyms: brief, concise, terse, succinct, short, elliptical, abrupt
Antonyms: verbose, garrulous
Usage: The laconic boy rarely spoke.
