UBI Apprentice Recruitment 2026: Notification Out
Union Bank of India has released its latest Apprentice Recruitment Notification, inviting eligible graduates from across the country to apply for 1865 apprentice posts under the Apprentices Act, 1961. This is a one-year on-the-job training programme spread across branches in 30+ states and union territories. Interested candidates can now start applying as the link has been activated from 29th April 2026 onwards from the link given below.

UBI Apprentice Recruitment 2026 Eligibility
A candidate must know the minimum required qualification to be eligible for the Union Bank Apprentice posts before submitting their application forms. Check the eligibility criteria in terms of education qualification and age limit from here.
Educational Qualification
Candidates must hold a Bachelor’s Degree in any discipline from a university or college recognised by the Government / UGC / AICTE. Key conditions:

Result must be declared on or before 01 April 2026.

Graduation should not be more than 4 years old — i.e., the degree marksheet date should not be earlier than 01 April 2022.

Candidates must produce original mark sheets and provisional/degree certificates when asked by the Bank.

For percentage calculation, 59.99% is rounded up to 60%.
Age Limit (as on 01/04/2026)
Candidates must fall in the age group of 20 to 28 years to be eligible to apply for the released vacancies.

Local Language Proficiency
Candidate must be proficient (reading, writing, speaking, and understanding) in at least one local language of the state they are applying for. For example, Tamil Nadu requires Tamil proficiency, Karnataka requires Kannada, and so on.
Union Bank Apprentice Application Fee 2026
The candidates are required to pay the application fees while submitting the application form. Candidates from the general category are required to pay Rs. 800/- and candidates from SC/ ST and female categories are required to pay Rs. 600/-. Fee or Intimation charges, once paid, will not be refunded for any reason or held in reserve for another exam or selection.

Union Bank of India Apprentice Selection Process
The selection process for the Apprentice post is based on an Online Test (objective type), knowledge, and a test of Local Language and Medical Examination. The final selection is based on the total marks obtained by candidates in the online exam.
