SSC MTS 2023 : Exam Pattern / Selection Process
The revised SSC MTS Paper-I Exam Pattern has been released along with Notification Computer-Based Examination will be conducted in 2 Sessions.
SSC MTS Paper-I Exam Pattern: SSC MTS Paper-I is an online paper having multiple choice questions in sections: Reasoning, English Language, Numerical Aptitude and General Awareness. The entire paper is of total 90 questions and 270 marks.There will be a Physical Efficiency Test (PET)/ Physical Standard Test (PST) (only for the post of Havaldar).
Session-I and Session-II and both the Sessions will be mandatory to be attempted. Not attempting any session will disqualify the candidate. There will be a negative marking of 1 mark for each wrong answer in Session 2 while there will be no negative marking in Session 1.
The performance of the candidate in Session-I will be evaluated first and performance in Session-II would be evaluated only if a candidate qualifies in Session-I.The merit list would be prepared solely based on performance in Session-II.

SSC MTS Havaldar PET & PST
The candidates who have applied for SSC Havaldar posts have to appear for the Physical Efficiency Test & Physical Standard Test after qualifying SSC MTS Tier-1 Exam. Followings are the PETand PST standards for the post of Havaldar in CBIC and CBN as mentioned in SSC MTS Notification 2023.
