
SSC CGL 2023: Exam Pattern & Syllabus
The Staff Selection Commission (SSC) has released the notification for the Combined Graduate Level Examination (CGL) 2023 tier-I exam on 3rd April 2023 at its official website, ssc.nic.in. The registration process will remain open till 03rd May 2023, after which no application will be accepted. Staff Selection Commission will hold the Combined Graduate Level Examination, 2023 for filling up of various Group “B” and Group “C” posts in different Ministries/ Departments/ Organizations.
SSC CGL 2023 Exam Pattern:
As per SSC CGL Syllabus for Tier-1 Exam, there will be 4 sections with 25 questions each. The time duration for completing the Tier-1 Exam is 60 minutes & there is a negative marking of 0.5 marks for each incorrect answer. Have a look at the SSC CGL Tier-1 Exam Pattern from here-

SSC CGL 2022 Tier-I Exam Pattern:
The Exam of SSC CGL Tier-I will be conducted online comprising of 4 sections with about 100 questions in total and with maximum marks of 200. The entire exam is needed to be completed in a time span of 60 minutes.

SSC CGL 2022 Tier-I Penalty for Wrong Answer:
There is a negative marking of 1/4th marks for each wrong answer. There is no sectional cut off. No point will be deducted if the question is left blank or unattempted by a candidate.
