The Sportstar Aces Awards 2025 celebrated excellence in Indian sports on February 14, 2025, at the Taj Mahal Palace in Mumbai. Reliance Industries was honored as the Best Corporate for Promotion of Sports for its contributions through the Reliance Foundation. Jyothi Yarraji won Sportswoman of the Year (Track & Field) for her outstanding performances in athletics. Avani Lekhara was recognized as the Para Sportswoman of the Year for her achievements in shooting. The Indian Chess Teams won big, with the Open Olympiad Team named National Team of the Year and the Women’s Olympiad Team winning National Women's Team of the Year. IM Divya Deshmukh was awarded Sportswoman of the Year (Non-Olympic) for her achievements in chess. KIIT-DU received the Best University for Promotion of Sports award for its commitment to fostering sports at the university level. The event highlighted the diverse contributions of athletes, teams, and institutions to Indian sports. It reinforced India's growing dominance across various sporting disciplines, from athletics and chess to para sports and corporate support initiatives.

  • Sportstar of the Year (Male): P.R. Sreejesh (Hockey) for his outstanding performance in India's bronze medal win at the 2024 Paris Olympics.
  • Sportstar of the Year (Female): Manu Bhaker (Shooting) for securing two medals at the 2024 Paris Olympics.

  • Sportsman of the Year: Swapnil Kusao (Shooting) for clinching a bronze medal at the 2024 Paris Olympics.
  • National Team of the Year: Indian Men's and Women's Chess Teams for winning gold medals at the 45th Chess Olympiad.
  • Club/State Team of the Year: Mumbai Cricket Team for winning the 2023-24 Rancho Trophy.
  • Best University for Promotion of Sports: Kalinga Institute of Industrial Technology (KIIT) for its outstanding contribution to sports development.
  • Best Corporate for Promotion of Sports: Reliance Foundation for its initiatives in developing sports and growing football in India.
