SBI PO Recruitment (2026-27): Notification Out
The State Bank of India has officially released the SBI PO Notification 2026 for 1500 Probationary Officer vacancies across India. Along with the notification, SBI has also activated the online application link on its official careers portal. Candidates interested in joining India’s largest public sector bank as a Probationary Officer can now complete the registration process online from 18 June 2026 onwards. As per the official schedule, the last date to apply online is 18 July 2026.

SBI PO Eligibility Criteria 2026
Candidates must satisfy the required educational qualification and age criteria before applying online

A Graduation degree in any discipline from a recognized University.
-
Candidates in their final year/semester of graduation may apply provisionally, provided they can produce proof of passing by cut off date.
-
Degrees in Medicine, Engineering, CA, and Cost Accountancy are also eligible.

SBI PO Selection Process 2026
The SBI PO recruitment process consists of three phases.

Phase I – Preliminary Examination

Phase II – Main Examination
-
Phase III – Psychometric Test, Group Exercise & Interview
Note: Candidates must qualify each stage separately to move to the next phase. Final selection will be based on marks obtained in the Mains Examination and Interview round.
