Dear Aspirants,
State Bank of India has released the Recruitment notification for eligible Indian Citizens for appointment as Junior Associate (Customer Support and Sales) in clerical cadre. Candidates can apply for vacancies in one State only. Candidates can appear for the test only once under this recruitment project. Application has begin from 17  December, 2024 and will close on 07 January, 2025. All the eligible candidates can apply for the same. 
 
Total number of vacancies: 13,735
SBI Clerk Exam is held by SBI or State Bank of India to recruit candidates for Clerical Cadre in its different branches across the country. SBI Clerk is one of the most sought after bank exams today and a huge number of candidates appear for the same every year.

Eligibility:

1. Nationality: A candidate is required to be a citizen of India

2. Age Limit (As on 01.04.2024): A candidate must range between 20-28 years of age to be eligible for SBI Clerk 2025 Exam. Age relaxation is given to candidates belonging to the reserved category. The age relaxations granted by the Government of India is mentioned in the table below:

Educational Qualification:

  • A candidate must hold a bachelor’s degree and above in any discipline to be eligible for the SBI Clerk Exam 2025. He/She must hold the knowledge of computers.

  • The date of passing the eligibility examination will be the date appearing on the mark-sheet or provisional certificate issued by the University/Institute

Selection Process for SBI CLERK 2025:
The selection process will consist of on-line test (preliminary and main examination) and test of specified opted local language.
 
A) SBI CLERK Prelims Exam Pattern (Phase I):
Phase-I : Preliminary Examination: Preliminary Examination (online) consisting of Objective Tests for 100 marks will be conducted online. This test would be of 1 hour duration consisting of 3 Sections as follows. Each test will have a separate timing as mentioned below.

C) SBI CLERK LANGUAGE PROFICIENCY TEST (LPT):
Language Proficiency Test (LPT) - The candidates provisionally selected from the on-line examination will have to undergo a language proficiency test (LPT). The language proficiency test will be conducted in the Official / Local Language of the State concerned. Candidate not proficient in the Official/Local Language would be disqualified.
