SBI CLERK 2020 Exam Pattern & Syllabus

Dear Aspirants,

State Bank of India has released the Recruitment notification for eligible Indian Citizens for appointment as Junior Associate (Customer Support and Sales) in clerical cadre. Candidates can apply for vacancies in one State only. Candidates can appear for the test only once under this recruitment project. The application has begun from 3 January 2020 and will close on 26 January 2020. All the eligible candidates can apply for the same. Here are the Notification Details.

Selection Procedure:-

The selection process will consist of on-line tests (preliminary & main examination) and test of specified opted local language. SBI Clerk Preliminary Exam is tentatively scheduled in the month of February/ March 2020. SBI Clerk Mains Exam is tentatively scheduled on 19th April 2020. Phase-1: SBI Clerk Prelims Exam - 100 Marks

Preliminary Examination (online) consisting of Objective Tests for 100 marks will be conducted online. This test would be of 1-hour duration consisting of 3 Sections as follows:

Phase-2: SBI Clerk Mains Exam - 200 Marks

Mains Examination will consist of Objective Tests of 190 Questions of 200 marks: The structure of mains examination (online objective type) would be as follows:

SBI CLERK LANGUAGE PROFICIENCY TEST (LPT):
Language Proficiency Test (LPT)- Those who qualify for selection and produce 10th or 12th standard mark sheet/ certificate evidencing having studied the specified opted local language will not be subjected to any Language test. In the case of others (qualified for selection), specified opted local language test will be conducted after provisional selection but before joining. Candidates not found proficient in specified opted local language would be disqualified.

Note: There will be negative marks for wrong answers in the Objective tests. 1/4th of the mark assigned for a question will be deducted for each wrong answer.
